GENERAL INFORMATION BECOMING A DEALER

To join our strong and reputable dealer network, all that is required is for you to order our products and pay your invoices. Orders will be shipped COD unless we have a credit application on file and you have a credit line established with us. Our credit terms are Net 30 days. All accounts are to be kept current.

BUSINESS HOURS

Our office hours are from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Central time, Monday through Friday. Our warehouse closes for pickups at 4:00 PM.

Special Holiday Hours for 2012—2013 will be:

Independence Day - We will be closed July 4th Labor Day - We will be closed Monday Sept. 3rd.

Thanksgiving - We will be closed Thursday and Friday - November 22nd and 23rd.

Christmas 2012 - We will close at 2:00 P.M. on Dec. 21st and will be closed December 24th and 25th.

SPECIAL ORDER / DROP SHIPMENT

Many of our suppliers offer more items than we can efficiently handle. If you require some of these products, we will be happy to special order them for you. Freight is FOB point of origin on special orders.

CREDIT APPROVAL

1.Customers wishing to establish credit must complete our credit application. 2. Customers with credit approval receive: A. Account will be assigned credit line for orders. B. Payment terms are net 30 days from invoice date. Pay by invoice, not statement. C. A 1.5% interest charge per month (18% annual) will be charged to all delinquent accounts. D. Interest charge must be paid in full before account will be considered current.

RETURNS

1. Authorization must be obtained before product may be returned. 2. Call us to receive return authorization number (RA#) 3. Returned merchandise must be shipped prepaid with a copy of the Return Authorization. Please have a copy of the original invoice enclosed. 4. Returned merchandise must be shipped back within 30 days of RA# date. 5. All returned merchandise is subject to a 20% restocking charge. 6. Custom-made, special order, or close out merchandise may not be returned for credit. 8. Acceptance of returns will be at our discretion and upon approval by Brownstone Distributing and or the manufacturer, credit will be given.

FREIGHT

For your protection, we recommend that you inspect all items before accepting delivery. If you discover a shortage or damage - do not refuse shipment. Note the shortage or damage on the freight bill and file a claim with the carrier. We take care to insure that the merchandise will arrive in good condition; however, we will aid you in filing a freight claim. Once the carrier accepts shipment, our responsibility for damage ceases.

MINIMUM ORDER

EXCEL Features • EXCEL is tested and listed to the ULC S-629 chimney standard. The ULC

standard is generally considered the toughest residential chimney standard in the world. The USA standard requires the chimney to withstand three 10-minute 2100°F chimney fires. The Canadian standard requires the chimney to withstand three 30-minute chimney fires, three times longer than the USA.

• EXCEL is the only 1 inch wall chimney to pass the ULC standard. • EXCEL’s unique thermoplus insulation has an extremely high insulating val-

ue that helps to keep flue gasses hot. Creosote won’t condense in a hot flue. • EXCEL is the lightest weight chimney of its kind on the market. This low

thermal mass enables it to heat up quickly, reducing creosote formation. And EXCEL’s light weight helps make it the easiest chimney to install.

• EXCEL incorporates continuous blanket insulation into a design which elim-inates couplings between lengths. This means there are no hot spots on the outside, or cool spots on the inside.

Model RIS is a type "A" factory-built chimney suitable for venting negative or neutral draft (non-pressurized) appliances including boilers, building heating equipment, fireplaces and stoves. RIS has been designed, tested, and listed to vent large wood burning fireplaces and to extend masonry chimneys.

In order to purchase from Brownstone, I hereby understand that the terms and conditions of the account will be as follows:

A. Orders will be invoiced at the time of shipment. B. Payment terms are net if paid within 30 days of date of invoice.

C. It is understood that the above terms are from date of invoice and that we do not issue monthly statements. D. A service charge of 1.5% per month will be charged on all invoices that are unpaid more than 30 days form date of invoice. E. Brownstone also reserves the right to withhold shipments to any overdue accounts. F. All goods returned for credit or refund will be handled as follows. 1. This agreement shall be construed to have been executed in Hennepin County, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and shall be interpreted in accordance with, and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. All disputes arising hereafter shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the State of Minnesota and venue for any such litigation shall be proper in the courts of Hennepin County, and suit brought shall be brought in Hennepin County. I authorize you to investigate my credit and to report to proper persons and bureaus my performance of this agreement. PERSONAL GUARANTY
