Born on June 1, 1941 in Manhattan, New York Attended New York University; studied
political science and economics; graduated with a major in philosophy and a minor in English
Published his wife’s cookbook. Decided he wanted to be a publisher, built
Meadowbrook Press, and became an author of baby name books and humor books for adults.
Put together a book of children’s favorite poems
Has written 3 books of poems, edited 6 poem anthologies, and a book series
