Andalis, Steve RyanThis guy really needs no introduction. Steve Andalis seems to capture the imagination, awe and even ire of his peers either because of his ability to conquer college life through seemingly challenging times or because of his innate talent in conquering just about anyone he comes into play against in varied sports and games. This is not to say he’s the resident MVP or whiz kid, or the contrary. Yet, truthfully, he passes off as a normal young man, wallowing in the graces of friends and family but never forgetting to return to the embrace of God for thanks and the embrace of people in need, in his small, discreet ways. But when you do catch him alone in his solitude, that’s pretty much still Steve, just being the mystery that he is. But if people insist his life is an open book, there are pages yet to be written and some yet to be found. He might – perhaps will – conquer life after all.

Ang, Oliver RyanHis silence gives the first impression that he is shy. However, when you get to know Oliver better, he is really fun to be with. Just like a child, he laughs at the oldest and corniest of jokes, and enjoys pulling pranks with his new Judo moves.

Just like any other guy, Oliver loves playing basketball and computer games, working out and watching movies. Aside from these, Oliver also enjoys being the “Chef” in the house.

Despite being the youngest in the family, Oliver grew up to be quite responsible. Whenever he gets involved in arguments, he is always man enough to apologize for his faults. This is why Oliver receives deep respect and love from his parents and siblings.

Abellanosa, Claudelle

When you are around Cy, you can’t help but notice the constant clicking. She clicks shots away with her camera phone, just as often as she clicks with other people. Everyone gets along well with her. She is fun, she is never dull. Eventually, you’d realize that great is not enough of a word to describe her, only BEST (only an all-caps best) can.

She is a masterpiece struggling for freedom. With every passing day she takes form, clay molds herself. Kinks enter and interfere with what she ought to be (oh, they often do :D), but her beauty always comes out in the end. Cy is a Magnum Opus, a Chef-d’ouevre.

Aguja, Luis AntonioLuis Antonio Aguja, a.k.a. L.A., may look like the typical boy-next-door. However, one will be quite astounded at the sheer complexity of his character: a certified introvert that is quite the master of presentations, reports, project defenses, and oral exams; a serious student with a great sense of humor that seems to pop out of nowhere; and an A student that never fails to help fellow students in need. Nevertheless, he remains humble and down to earth. He is one of those people who has good moral principles, and perseveres to abide by those principles no matter how difficult a situation may seem. He is always honest, dependable, and trustworthy, the ideal friend that everyone wishes to have. A great mind with a good heart, he is surely going to make it big someday. Always be confident that he will still be the same L.A. whom everyone has grown to admire.

Angeles, Jose FernandoGrew up (finally), grew up here; glad I made the right choice. ++TEKKY EDIT++ To speak of Pinggoy is too conceited, for anything and everything will always be rooted in him, and praising him even more would blast his ego to wherever hell freezes over (and wherever that is, sadly, will be another void for destroyed destinies to fill). Seriously though, words can never describe the tiniest bits of his person (or his godly nature), but I shall try anyway. Though his initial goal for choosing Ateneo over others (window-shopping) stands untouched, he has certainly shifted (in more ways than one) from this track: he has become what no one else, even himself, did not know—an eccentric character who loves and wants to be loved; and true enough, he has shared with others what he can give. Get close enough to him, and you’ll find yourself immersed in a different kind of happiness.

Angeles, Mark EdisonYou could say that Mark is your average Atenean: a math wiz, knowledge-seeker, studious, responsible, and a man-for-others. Nakooo. But seriously, Mark is your typical ECE student, having the tendency to recall details of anything and everything that isn’t academics-related. Mark has this deep-in-thought look, but after knowing him for four years, you would be assured that there really isn’t any brain process going on (though when he thinks he does overanalyze repeatedly). Despite never backing down from a challenge and using the least effort to getting things done amidst obstacles, Mark has enough sense to recognize defeat. Seemingly easygoing, carefree, and selfless, you can count on him anytime you need a friend to turn to. A great friend who loves Chinese food, that’s the Mark we all love.

Arcilla, GazeloK.K.K. Kataas-taasang Kagalang-galang na Kaibigan. Kataasan pagkat siya ang pinakamatangkad sa amin. Kagalang-galang ang kanyang di-pangkaraniwang talino (taas ng IQ!), at pagpapahalaga sa mabuting asal (di nangongopya!) maging sa loob man o sa labas ng pamantasan. Kaibigan siyang tunay naman na iyong makakaramay mula sa “paghahanap ng malakas” hanggang sa kadulu-duluhan at wakas. Ngunit kung ikakahon natin ang binatang ito na nangangalang Gazelo sa mga K na ito ay ating maiwawaglit ang tunay na lalim niya. Bello, Eloy Ceasar IXMahirap (with the soft ‘r’ sound). That’s Eloy Caesar. Difficult to describe using ordinary words. Difficult to keep up with in terms of ka-conyohan. Difficult to replace with anyone. Being the eldest of the block, U1, he jokingly uses the age difference to achieve his desires, while remaining affectionate despite the intensity of his none-too-serious teasing and “power-tripping”. Being one of the most artistic in his ECE batch, if not the most artistic, his creative juices are always pumping, manifesting through daily one-minute doodles found in his notebook. Even giving off a “meanie” aura, Eloy is one person you would not hesitate to trust. For anyone in need of a companion who’s willing to try anything, has a quick sense of humor, the ability to make you laugh, and who sticks with you through good or bad, Eloy is the one.

Bernardo, Jose PaoloTruth is, the world is full of Paolos. It’s hard to stand out among the crowd, and for him that seems to be a herculean task. He’s somewhat borderline OC and he’s distinctively slow-paced but perhaps girls will remember him for the mystery exuded by his dreamy eyes; his friends, for his genuine companionship shared; and his family, for simply being a good brother and son. Beyond the looks and the laughs is a soul that has grand visions for his future and a hearty smile for the present. The adage, “silent waters run deep” truly fits Paolo. Still silent water is a river waiting to gush out. Whether as an accomplished engineer or heartthrob, he will find his river’s true path soon enough. For now, when everyone seems to mistake one Paolo for another, it’s a joy that this one is trying to showcase his own, unique, brilliant self.


Cagampan, Ama Cara“It’s beauty that captures your attention; personality which captures your heart.” She’s not the quiet type, but deep inside the silence of her heart reveals so much. Her out-going nature masks the loud whispers of her childlike guise. AC is so much more than what meets the eye. Some might know her as the athlete, the young entrepreneur, the clever and diligent student, or the dexterous artist; but only a handful would really know the mystery she holds deep in her heart. Her altruistic disposition makes the people close to her very blessed and grateful. She never fails to make them feel loved in her own special way. Family and friends would testify to how AC had greatly touched their lives.

Canlas, MarnelliPraning. A type of girl who you would not hesitate to start a conversation with. Does not give off that taray aura that most beautiful Atenean girls have, neither does she exude that boring factor ECE students are reputed to have. She talks to anyone and everyone about anything and everything. Proof of this are the numerous friends she has on her multiply, facebook, and ym accounts. The resident hugging machine, she is also the pillow you’d silently wet with tears. For us lucky people who have a closer relationship with her, Ning is not just a good friend. She is our cuz, tol, mommy, and many more. She’ll take care of the drunk, screaming girl and happily show the bruises she got, accompany the loner runner boy by being the loner herself, and help the stressed piña girl even while she herself is under more stress. Bottom line is, Ning is one you can always count on for everything.

Chan, AddisonOne funny thing about Addi is that he is completely ignorant of the fact that wherever he goes, whatever he does, a lot of people are rapt by his effortless charms. But beyond the captivating looks he has, his unpretentiousness, simplicity and sincerity exude to every soul around him. Powered by pure, potent and undiluted charisma, he can entertain you by simply being himself.

Though often judged as being an introvert and snobbish, if one knew him fully well, one would say that he is the opposite. Alongside being wise and smart, he is undeniably funny, quirky, sweet and dependable. It takes him forever to finish his food, and he once used the codename “PaaPaaFoot” and would have had a 100-point streak on all EngMa 101 exams if not for his pencil and his slippers.

Cheng, JeromedThere is a lot to say about Med, but words can’t begin to describe him. Of course, one can mention how smart, funny, and talented he is. Med is like a butterfly that floats on the meadow, boisterously fluttering about with his wings high up in the sky. He flies and does everything in his own pace. He stands up for what he believes in, no matter what anyone else might say. This is not to say that he does not care about anybody else, as he is a “mother” to everyone around him. Whether being a mother for the “dollhousers” or being a “Mother Raffer”, he is a very kind person full of compassion and loyalty. Just don’t call him a dog!

Chico, June CarloFour years seem like a long time when I think about it. 11 semesters including summers of endless homeworks, projects, orals and tests. But in the end, I am still here, right? And right now I am mixed up with feeling both happy and sad. Happy because my suffering is almost over and sad because four years might be a long time in most cases but in college, life is always short, years always go by so fast and, in my case, college was the happiest and most meaningful part of my life. Here, I was shaped into the person that I am right now and who I will be tomorrow. Who am I? I guess I can describe myself as a happy survivor. I’ve had my share of failures and disappointments but they are miniscule compared to what I have gained; my friends, values, loves and experiences. Each helped me survive every bump in the road of my college and made me the best I can be.

Cruz, Kristoffer PaoloQuite surely, you’ve encountered more than one person with the same name, but the Pao we know is someone who certainly makes a name for himself.

To describe him would be a false definition of who he is. He can easily be seen as the persevering student, or the fun-loving friend, and though he exceeds these terms beyond comprehensible measures, he never ceases to show others what he is and what he can be. It’s really hard to box in a character of such magnitude when someone like Pao is just overflowing with charisma and enthusiasm.

Knowing Pao by exchange of words is insufficient; Much like Philosophy, you have to experience Pao to fully grasp the uniqueness that he embodies.


Dantes, Michael AngeloAngelo will always be about the metaphor of the sun. How it is always up there, burning and giving out warmth. How it is so immense and unavoidable, yet unreachable, cannot be touched. One can merely look at it, and even in looking, one can only make a side glance so as not to damage the eye. Angelo would always do everything in the light of the sun—he would make caricatures of it, write about it, talk to us about it. On the lighter side, Angelo is someone who could reach out to any type of person. He could be a friend to anyone—from his fellow students, even to the street children of Musmos. Uniquely, he loves Japanese art, from anime to music. He writes extraordinarily well, as if he could always find something magnificent out of everyday things. He is able to make the familiar experiences seem as if they’re happening to you again in a very different way.

KristleYou’d know her by her gentle smile, by the way she fluently talks, how assertively she walks or how she makes anything dull worthwhile. || She’s the friend with whom you’d want to share your care. She’s the group mate who’d never leave the work undone. To frogs and lizards, yes, she’d really give out a scare, but from any other problem, she won’t ever back down and run. || Equipped with a heart that never tires to give and inspire, driven with a ceaseless passion to reach any end in mind—she’s a free spirit that doesn’t seem to want to retire. || But when every little thing goes mad, as nothing seems to go her way, she’s a soul that would always look up to God, a soul that would humble down, let go, and pray. || So, if, by chance, you see her by, she goes by the name: Kristle. Yup, he’s always cheerful and smiling. Astig siya, dudes. He’ll always greet you and remember your birthday. He’s the type who will stay with you through thick and thin. He’ll lend you a helping hand and listen to your problems. Your brains failed to relay that this creature has an excellent memory. He seems to suffer from obsessive-compulsiveness. But this homo sapien is not deterred from gaining many friends. He exemplifies magis. He fulfills responsibilities. He has a 100% gamma wavelength which accounts for his being a shrewd and benevolent male. Bravo to him.

Ferrer, DaphineYes, the name is Daphine, not Daphne. And, yes, this girl is not afraid to shine in her own special way. In doing so, Daph has unconsciously encouraged everyone around her to believe in themselves the way she has believed in them.

She knows how to balance school and play. She constantly wows her classmates with her intellectual capacity and writing prowess. In everything she does, she gives nothing but her best (bridge sessions are not spared). Despite these, she stays grounded and does not hesitate to share her talents and time, being the compassionate Ate to her Ani kids, ACIL kids, Blue Christmas kids, and the list goes on.

Alas! She wistfully looks at the stars, looks at how they shine for her, not knowing that she, too, belongs to the sky shining and inspiring others.

Infante, WilliamYou can rely on William. He’s principled, upright, good. He probably knows what he wants, and -- no he does not just do them -- he knows what he should do. This is what I find admirable in him: this is what I’d be really remembering him for.

William is a walking contradiction. He is that person you see doing a million things all at once and still able to walk in an unhurried manner. His slow speech also belies a quick mind, as most of his friends and teachers can attest. School and business aside, his friends know him to be quite a talker, and a good listener – again, a pleasant contradiction.

William has a very peaceful aura, talks softly yet firmly, and takes life one day at a time. He is never without a warm smile to greet a friend.

Isiderio, John Vianneyn/a

Khan, AldrinEveryone’s favorite computer techie. A hardworking thrift freak. The ultimate rice lover. A hopeless romantic that has the world rooting for him. The embodiment of an otaku. An avid fan of mysteries while he himself is a bit mysterious. Once you get to know him, no one comes quite as colorful as Aldrin. Whether it’s his comical disposition of the world or the funny stories he shares of his adventures in the urban jungle, he’s the type of guy who always has a story to share.

Aldrin is surrounded by a very welcoming aura that can make anyone feel comfortable and cared for. And for the girls out there, he is the perfect gentleman. He’s going to carry a pail of water for you and walk as far as God knows how long. He’s a person always willing to give his time that you’ll regret not including him in your list of friends.

Lacasandile, LouelA man of great wit and outstanding humor, Louel never fails to liven up a group with his ever-ready laugh and jokes to cheer up a gloomy situation, just as he throws down that “Go Ateneo!” cheer we all love to awaken a silenced crowd during crucial moments in Ateneo games. Whether it be just singing the silliest songs, goofing off, or having the most ridiculous conversations, you’ll know he’s game for anything. Even with organizations like GK and AECES paired up with excruciating long tests, you could say this guy invented the word Cramming. You also won’t catch this Chocnut lover in a bad mood anytime. His skills in basketball can earn him a place in the UAAP, though he chose not to pursue it. This guy has his own plans, and if you’re a friend of Mr. Loyalty, you’re sure you’re in it. Having a friend like him reminds you that life can be filled with happiness and delight.

Lesigues, Lenvic ElicerLenvic, Vikoy, VicVic, or just plain Vic. Chances are you probably know him by one of his nicknames. And as his numerous pseudonyms would suggest, Vikoy is a lot of different things to a lot of different people. He has gained infamy among his classmates and teachers for always arriving late in class (five minutes before dismissal), but still managing to get a decent grade, occasionally even excelling. His laid-back attitude may seem irksome at times, but trust that Vikoy has enough drive to fuel thing he’s most passionate about, may it be his academics, extra-curriculars or just his silly antics. You’d probably hear him from a mile away laughing heartily and always enjoying life, but don’t let that cheerful-happy-go-lucky-guy persona fool you, because deep inside (as in really deep) Vikoy has a soft spot. He can be a shoulder to cry on and a trusted friend when need be.


Manio, Mark Edward “Wake me up, before you go go!” probably is the one line

Mark would most likely say to you. His constant need to sleep is a feat most people find strange and a few marvel at. Drooping eyelids, yawns and daytime dreams are part of the territory. Narcolepsy aside, his true persona wakes up in the presence of peers, and the aura around him is anything but lethargic. The term “na-manio”, created by his friends, was fashioned after his numerous antics which include, but is not limited to: running out of load, doing something foolishly funny and not getting a perfectly delivered punch line. Surely, most people would deem sleep as a waste of time, but not for Mark. Whenever the legendary moments in life come along, he chooses to wake up and experience life.

Martinez, Mark Baldwin2007: Creates a 1 Volt peak to peak sine wave from nothing.2009: Graduates from the Ateneo, calls the experience “OK”.2015: Finally invents the perpetual motion machine.2020: Convinces all Filipinos to be patriotic. They are thenceforth known as Baldwinians, and the country Baldwinia.2024: Makes first contact with extraterrestrials.2030: Co-founds the United Federation of Planets.2043: Gets himself elected Prime Minister of the Galaxy.

Mateo, LorlynnMany would describe her as the girl who gets the joke last, while others may describe her as the girl who always comes late for class. Still others would only know her for her pretty face as she passes by the corridors, but to her friends, Lynn is the best friend you could ever ask for. Her mere presence is more than sufficient to melt all your troubles away. Be it for her warm smile or for her spirited laughter, one will be left in wonder how she makes the day a little brighter. Along with that is a certain charm that makes you want to get closer to her. No one will ever regret meeting Lynn and becoming friends with her. Like a rainbow that gleams so beautifully after the rain, Lynn makes everyone’s days colorful and bright despite the stresses of everyday life.

Mendoza, Genesis>He’s always around, literally and figuratively, that is, unless someone else has already pulled him for some impulsive trip to the cinemas or just a leisure time in the lab. Whichever the situation is, he is bound to burst with stories that’ll move you to fits of laughter, rage or both at the same time. He’ll wake up before dawn just to be with you while queuing for UAAP tickets. Carol>He is like a ‘eureka’ moment, words fail to express the impact he has on his friends. Manio>Believe it or not, Gen cares. Ning>He will never leave you hanging. Eloy>One stare from him, your soul is pierced forever. Daph>He is always a dependable go-to-guy. Kristle

Muñoz, MarvinKuya RV is an achiever and dreamer in every way. Give him a task, and he’ll do it. Give him a guitar, and he’ll learn to play it. Ask him about what he wants to be, and despite the circumstances, he will stand tall and reach out to achieve it.

Marvin, who loves the letter V, is always driven and focused as he will do anything to get what he wants, crushing everything that gets in the way.

Marv is simply Marv—forever a kid, always sporting that sheepish smile of his. He’s the type of guy that’s always around, never one to shy away from a friend in need. He’s there when you need him the most, someone you can always put your money on.

Pagkanlungan, Monika “Ganyan talaga ang buhay. Parang bato… It’s hard.” That is Nikki’s playful reply when her friends begin complaining about life’s hardships. But unknown to those who are not close to her, Nikki is a true fighter. A fighter who knows what she wants in life and is out to get it. Behind her quiet disposition and quick naughty smiles lies a sports enthusiast and an electronics geek rolled together into one truly loveable friend.

Life may be hard, but it only happens once. Nikki holds this close to her heart and concentrates on living life to the fullest!

Peteza, ElginIt is not everyday that you get to meet a person who has a unique nickname as Tosh. In fact, most people would mistake his name for The Old Spaghetti House, which he actually has never been to.

Being serious-looking, a complete snob and someone hard to get along with are among the first impressions people get when they meet Tosh. Second thoughts follow when people get to know him better!

Tosh is unbelievably humble–more like “inferiority complex” as he would say. Whenever praised, he would simply say “Hindi naman.” If there is one thing that he’d boast about, that would be his being trustworthy. So if you want to share a bit of your secrets, you won’t get disappointed with Tosh.

Pineda, Maria Margarita ThereseWith a gift of gab and a whimsical imagination, it comes to no one’s surprise that Migs is one of those people you just seem not to get enough of. Always happy and smiling, she can bring happiness to the next level with a camera in one hand and a tall cup of coffee in the other. When faced with adversity though, she hops on one leg, balances a book on her head and laughs out loud. She’s a self-confessed nerd who can study like there’s no tomorrow and cram like there’s no yesterday. But underneath these outbursts of kasabawan, lies a kind, gentle and sweet soul that will always give you the time of day. Personally, I’d compare her to a Tootsie Roll. Getting to know her is fun, exciting and will always leave you guessing about what she’ll do next– and when you do get to that center, you’ll find her, like the Tootsie Roll, sweet and well worth the effort.

Ramirez, Ana CatherinaShe looks out at the world with her large, dark brown, soulful eyes and sighs sadly. What she doesn’t know is that the world looks back at her with huge, wondering eyes, unbelievably smiling at finding such a beautiful mystery.

She is Anacat--a lady of strange yet riveting paradoxes and endless depth. Rocking and swaying her head to the beat of her favorite indie rock songs and typing away an angsty blog entry, she is actually one who truly believes in God’s goodness and life’s happy endings. And though she may not perceive herself to be one, she is actually a bright ray of sunshine to her loved ones’ lives as she amuses them with her unusually extra large appetite and gasping laughter; astounds them with her unique brand of magis, and, touches them with her sincerity and genuinely good heart.

Rigor, Christian JohnAccording to Christian, life should not be taken too seriously. Do not be tied down by external expectations. Aiming for wealth, fame and success is futile. Even if you die without achieving these things, what matters most is that you spent your days experiencing what you loved to do and traveling to where you wished your feet would take you. In the end, you know deep inside that you had fun. You were happy.

But then again, Christian might just be saying this to justify not saving enough money for the future, opting to earn more university degrees rather than to earn a fixed office salary, and preferring to detach from familiarity and be whisked away to unknown destinations.

Riña, Adrienne MaeIt is not with much effort that a girl would stand out when she is in a presumably all-boys territory. But even when she was younger, Ayen has been and continues to be a stand out in the eyes of the people whom she loves and who loves her in return. She is one who gives life to her family, friends, and to just about anyone because she takes in as much as what life can offer her. She does not live for herself because she finds it more fulfilling to share everything that she is with very little hesitation, to say the least.

Ayen may not be as prominent as some people are, but for those fortunate enough to have known her, she is a rare treasure – something that we put so much importance on but of immeasurable value at the same time.

Ruiz, Michael RafaelIt is extremely difficult to try to describe a person such as Mickey. Most of his friends only get to see certain facets of his personhood while acquaintances only catch glimpses of this elusive personality. But, in a few words, Mickey is a passionate person. He has the eyes of an angel and the hands of a saint. He lets nothing get in his way but he plays fair. His heart is where it should be but his mind knows no limitations. He is defined by selfless love and deep commitment to those who matter most to him.

San Juan, AlbertHe may come off easily as the typical ECE nerd that other Ateneans see lurking around Faura grounds, but Albert is one of the few who has grown out of the stereotypical-nerd phase. In the years he has stayed in this school, he has changed from the slightly introverted student, to a jack-of-all-trades, to some extent. Eccentric as he may seem for cursing down his major subjects, he is quite talented - he transforms such things into one of his stress-relieving antics (which are required as per ECE student).

He would, if literally possible, “breathe in” food. But don’t be fooled by the magnitude of his food consumption because he still maintains a healthy physique. Proclaimed “King Corn” for being the all-time champion in cracking the corniest of jokes (so darn corny, they become hilarious), the Incredible Hulk look-alike is also a very studious and conscientious student, proud of himself for being proficient in his subjects, especially math and philosophy. When a friend needs assistance in academics or simply someone to talk to, one can be sure of this guy’s helping hand. A big heart for his family and genuine concern for others make Gelo one of the people you wish you haven’t missed in college.

Sze, Lawrence LeanThere’s no such thing as black ice. But stubborn as he is, this person will try to surmise that such a matter is possible. Of course, he reckons on facts like everybody else, but he keeps fiction within reach. He beckons them to seep into his mind, and so it has made him twisted...aesthetically. Public accounts mention that when you first see him, you’d think he was a shy and quiet type of person, but once you start getting to know him, you’ll find out that there are a lot of crazy things going through his mind. Another account tells us that he doesn’t talk much, but upon conversing with him, you will realize his eagerness to discover something more.

Truly, this individual, donned with a shroud of ambiguity, is someone that everyone, including himself, is yet to decode and comprehend.

Tan, James EdwardArmed with good looks and charisma, James can surely shock you to your bones! Behind his piercing eyes and thoughtful expression lies one of the smartest brains in his batch. Known for excelling in almost anything he does, he is probably the best embodiment of a well-rounded person. Known for his great sense of humor and sociability, Mr. Popular is also recognized for his athleticism and computer-gaming skills. Surely five whole years of engineering can be brain damaging so he has made it a point to be active in his extracurricular as well. James has proven his eagerness to excel in leadership roles through dedication, commitment, and hard work, which earned him respect and high regard from his peers. Another awe-inspiring thing about James is that he makes it a daily effort to live his life for God’s pleasure and purpose.

Tan, StephanieStephanie Tan, known simply as “Steph” to her friends, is a seemingly typical girl with an extraordinary exhilarating character. With her alluring smile, she can surely lighten up anyone’s moods. Steph is also innately polite, which earns her the respect and admiration that are due her. But Steph is not all charm; she can certainly be perky and loud when the situation calls for it. And like most fun-to-be-with girls, Steph sings when she’s happy, laughs at overly corny jokes, and endears the people she cares for. What you see is definitely not what you get with Steph- there’s a lot more! Her remarkable quality is often concealed by her mataray appeal. But this dreamgirl is definitely very approachable, as she would want people to know. Beauty with character? That’s Steph. So, guys out there, take it easy on this cutie.

Tee, Jarwin-JimWith amazing guitar skills that could make Jimi Hendrix look like he’s scratching his guitar, Awi is one person you shouldn’t forget while in college. A hearty appetite, a subtle taste of humor and his concern for his friends are just some of the things you’ll notice once you hang out with him. Sure, he may look unapproachable in the first glance, but that wouldn’t be enough, since getting to know someone like him would make your life extraordinary, or in his language, rock. One more thing. This guy’s a one-man band – he plays a little bass and goes wild on drums. Surely one rocker you don’t want to miss.

In her four years of stay in the Ateneo, she has already tried all the food establishments along Katipunan. Apart from being a food aficionado, she is quite active in ACMG, the organization that has become her family at the Ateneo.

Though being close to her friends from ACMG, she still makes it a point to enjoy the company of block mates. She enjoys being with her girl friends along with the guys, who are also fun to be with.

All of these will surely have one thing in common: Greg was a part of them. With his charismatic presence and vociferous antics, Greg never fails to relieve you from all the pressure and problems you face. His shiny and curly hair fits his personality because he is not the guy who just walks among the crowd. However fun-loving Greg may seem to be, having him in our lives has taught us this lesson: there are no limitations in being a good friend no matter what the circumstances are. In ten years, not only will his name be mentioned in the wildest and happiest times, but will also be part of those stories that tell how he made our saddest and hardest times a little bit happier.

Yap, GraceAbnormally zombie-like or abnormally manic–whichever of the two your first impression of Grace is, you are correct, for Grace is truly not normal. She is not a normal human being. She laughs with an alien supersonic voice one moment and nods off to sleep the next (even while standing in an LRT!). Plus, she can detect even the most microscopic vegetable bit to dare cross her veggie-hating taste. She is not a normal student either. She can cram a major paper due in an hour and sleep through an entire class yet still get an A or B+ for that subject. But most of all, she is not a normal friend. For once you get to be one of the blessed/doomed species called “Grace’s friends,” she will forever bully you (for it’s her way of showing affection). But, she will (and can!) also bully a guy twice her size to make you feel better. Told you, Grace is not normal – and this is exactly why we all love her.
