The present investigation is an experimental study on the different soil properties that affect the cricket pitch’s characteristics.

Literature review : History of cricket. Pitch research . Factors affecting. Pitch preparing. Pitch maintenance.

Experiment set up : Soil sample collection & Test program

Soil samples will be collected from selected International cricket stadium’s pitches of Bangladesh.

Need a Permission letter of Thesis Supervisor for collecting the soil sample from field.

Expenditure will be tabulated for the collection of soil sample according to official procedure , transportation & other costs.

New era of the test :

Optimum moisture content was determined by soil compaction test. Tests were performed to establish a relationship of compacted strength with moisture content using moisture content below optimum & various of moisture content.

The effect of organic content on the various Sample may be tested. various other tests.

Analysis of Data :

Analyze of the data and relate it with different results which will be obtained from the soil test.

Analyze The Graph & make decisions.

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE STUDIES :

Effect of soil type & silt content. Effect of moisture content and its

variation. Effect of compaction. Effect of organic content and its variation. Effect of grain size distribution. Effect of stiffness. Effect of additive elements. Effect of grass on the surface.
