    BHILAI MANAGEMENT TRAINING CENTRE

    Bhilai Management Training Centre wasestablished in the year 1972 at Bhilai

    House, Durg with an objective skill &

    knowledge of practicing manager.Training facilities are extended to the

    managers of B.S.P , MECON , H.S.C.L ,

    A.C.C , B.R.P.it has the additionalresponsibility of training MTs for Bhilai

    Steel Plant and CMO Culcutta as well.

    Training Activities of T&MD

    Department:-Vocational Training Activity :-Broadly these activities fall in to two categories. T&MD

    department extends necessary training facility to under

    graduate/post graduate of science engineering

    &management.

    Apprenticeship Training Scheme :-

    Apprenticeship are selected twice a year from among the

    ITI candidates/fresh entrants - 100 to 120 per

    batch.These Trainees enjoy stipend.

    Trade Testing of Employees:-

    To have assessment of skill of the employees for the

    purpose of their promotion of change of trade, trade tests

    are conducted in the plant mines and township

    Essay Competation:-

    Essay competation for the executive and non executive of

    B.S.P.on important topic is also another important

    activities of the training & management development.

    INTERPRETATIONThe above graph shows that 80% of BSP

    EMPLOYEE are in the favour of training where as

    10% are not in favour and 10% are not sure about

    that.

    INTERPRETATION

    In the above graph 87% of the BSP employee are

    aware about the Training programme whereas 13%

    employee are not aware of Training programme.

    In the above graph 65% of BSP employee know

    about training through department , 25% know it

    from BOSS and 10% know it from other sources

    In the above graph 58% of BSP employee are

    attended a Training programme during last 2 yrs

    whereas 42% of employee are not attended..

    In the above graph 90% of BSP employee said that work

    can be performed better after training programme and 7%

    think NO Whereas 3% are not sure about that.

    INTERPRETATION

    In the above graph 49% of BSP employee are satisfied with

    the training facility provided by BSP and 48% are not

    satisfied whereas 3% of employee are not sure about the

    training facilities

    INTERPRETATION

    In the above graph 91% of the BSP employee said that

    further training will be helpful to them , 3% said NO

    Whereas 6% are not sure about the opportunity

    INTERPRETATION

    In the above graph 76% of BSP employee are satisfied with

    the training programme and 20% said not satisfied whereas

    4% are not sure.

    In the above graph 70% of BSP employee said that

    Training will be relevant to there department needs, 25%

    said NO whereas 5% of the employee are not sure about its

    In the above graph 45% of the BSP employee said that they

    like Room training and 35% of them like Job rotation

    training whereas 20% were in the favour of Simulation

    training.

    INTERPRETATIONIn the above graph 40% of the employee said that Safety

    topic should covered which is useful at workplace, 25% said

    Since, the Calculated value of chi square isgrater then the table value, Null Hypothesis is

    Rejected and Alternate Hypothesis is acceptedand We can say that b.s.p employee are infavor of training needs.

    FINDINGS

    employee are very much satisfy with the

    training facilities and also it is found that the

    management are taking care of the facilities

    given to the worker and also helping in sorting

    out the problem of employee.

    So we must say that BSP is now changing

    there way of working by providing a propertraining facility to there employee and earning

    a lot of profit and also moving into the world of

    success.

    RECOMMENDATION

    Effort are to be made to cover more and

    more employee so that the organization

    will find it self equipped enough for taking

    promotional decisions.

    The work shop in the training section is

    now a days in a poor condition so effort

    are to be made for the replacement ofthe old apparatus and proper

    maintenance of the existing one.

    Management of the organization

    must have to invite the

    recommendation of change in

    training programme.Management of organization also

    have to ask from trainees about their

    facilities during training programme.
