1. Outer Frame:

Parts Needed: 3030 x 700mm, 12x 3030 Corner Brace, 8x M5x8 bolt, 96x M5 T-nut (3030), 96x

8X

Notes:

-The four Z 700mm extrusions run the full length, while the other extrusions butt up to them.

-Assemble the M5x8 bolt and T-nut, then slide into the brackets (96x).

2. Bed Frame

Parts Needed: 3030 x 700mm, 2x L Bracket, 4x M5x8 bolt, 12x M5 T-nut (3030), 12x

Note:

-Position the 3030 extrusions roughly 100mm from the ends. The position will be finalized in a later step.

3. Gantry Frame:

Parts Needed: 2020 x 760mm, 2x 2020 x 632mm, 2x ExoBracket 20, 2x Corner bracket, 4x Edge bracket, 2x Printed Z Brace, 2x M5x8 bolt, 20x M5x14 bolt, 4x M5 T-nut, 24x M5 washer, 4x

Notes:

-The two 760mm extrusions run the full length, while the 632mm extrusions butt up to them.

-The ExoBrackets (mounted on one 760mm extrusion) have the tabs pointing towards the corner braces.

-Leave the ExoBracket clamp bolts loose for now.

-Install the M5 bolts and T-nuts into the corner brackets (leaving the two outside holes blank) with the T-nuts in the

exact orientation shown above, then slide the 760mm extrusion through the T-nuts until it bottoms on the bracket.

Then slide the 632mm extrusion through the T-nuts until it bottoms on the cross 760mm extrusion.

4. Gantry Mounting:

Parts Needed: ExoSlide 30S, 6x M4x18 bolt, 8x M4x30 bolt, 8x

Notes:

-Hold the gantry temporarily in place with tape on both ends, about half way up the frame.

-Arrange the back ExoSlide 30S groups of two as shown above, and fasten with four M4x30 each.

-Mount the back ExoBrackets to the upper fastening positions on the ExoSlides.

5. Z Belt Drive:

Parts Needed: WormDrive gearboxes, 4x Nema 17x40 motor, 4x Motor brackets, 4x Omega idlers, 4x Z belt brackets, 8x GT2-6mm belt clips, 8x M3x35 bolt, 12x M5x8 bolt button head, 8x M5x8 bolt, 8x M5 T-nut 2020, 8x M5 T-nut 3030, 8x

2X 2X 8X

Notes:

-Mount the gearbox assemblies spaced 85mm / 3 3/8” (motor bracket edge) from the inside of the 632mm extrusion.

-Tighten the top belt section first, then tighten the bottom belt section (four sets).

6. Gantry X Rail

Parts Needed: 2040 x 700mm, 1x ExoSlide 20P, 2x ExoSlide 40P, 2x ExoBracket 40, 2x M4x40 bolt, 4x M4x60 bolt, 4x 2X 2X 2X

Notes:

-Orient the four ExoSlide carriage with the front ExoSlide 20P having the ExoSlide logo on the left side.

-Orient the ExoBrackets with the tabs pointing outwards, with the right ExoBracket flush with the end of the extrusion.

-Leave the left ExoBracket clamp bolt loose, it will be secured in the next step.

7. Gantry Install:

Parts Needed: ExoSlide 20P, 8x M4x18 bolt, 6x M4x40 bolt, 15x M4x50 bolt, 1x

-Arrange the ExoSlide 20P groups of two as shown above, and fasten with M4x40 bolts (except an M4x50 bold as shown)

8. Core XY Belts:

Parts Needed: Motor bracket, 2x Nema 17x40 motor, 2x GT2 20t pulley 5mm ID, 2x Idler bracket, 2x Idler bracket back, 2x Bracket Belt CoreXY, 1x M4x14, 4x M5x8 bolt, 8x M5x14 bolt, 4x M5 T-nut, 12x GT2 belt clips, 4x GT2 belt

Notes:

-Install the printed belt guides underneath the X and Y motor pulley’s to keep the belts in place during installation.

-Install the bottom belt first, then the top belt second.

9. Endstops

10. Cable Management X & Y

Parts Needed: Printed X cable bracket, 1x Printed Y cable bracket, 1x Printed L X left bracket, 1x Printed L X right bracket, 1x Printed L Y front bracket, 1x Printed L Y back bracket, 1x Aluminum ¾ x ½ x 1/16 L, 3x Drag chain 1020, 2x M3x6 bolt, 12x M4x20 bolt, 2x M5x8 bolt, 4x M5 T-nut, 4x

Notes:

-Cut the three aluminum L extrusions to 672mm.

-Drill 2.5mm holes and tap M3 threads at one end for the cable chain.

11. Hotend & Extruder

Parts Needed: Hotend/Extruder, 1x Hotend/Extruder bracket, 1x Printed 5010 duct, 1x M4x12 bolt, 2x

Bondtech BMG Extruder, E3D Heatsink, E3D V6 Hotend E3D Hemera Extruder, E3D V6 Hotend

12. Bed

Parts Needed: Aluminum MIC6 bed plate 500mm x 500mm, 1x Magnetic bed pad 500mm x 500mm, 1x PEI print surface on spring steel 500mm x 500mm, 1x M5x30 flat head bolt, 4x Plastic spacers M5 x 8mm, 8x M5 fender washer, 4x M5 T-nut, 4x

Note: -Drill and counter sink four 5.5mm holes in the bed plate, 10mm from each edge. Deburr bed plate.

13. Electronics

Parts Needed: Electrical enclosure, 1x IEC receptacle / fuse / switch, 1x Meanwell LRS350 24V power supply, 1x Solid state relay 24VDC in 115V out 40A, 1x Duet 3 Mini 5+ wifi board, 1x Duet 3 Expansion Mini 2+ board, 1x Duet Panel Due 7 LCD, 1x Printed Panel Due 7 cover front, 1x Printed Panel Due 7 cover back, 1x Plastic spacers M5 x 8mm, 6x M3x6 bolt, 8x M5x8 bolt, 2x M5x25 bolt, 3x M5 T-nut, 5x

Notes:

-Install the electrical enclosure spaced away from the frame 3030 extrusion to allow full Y clearance of the ExoSlide

carriage.

-Assemble the printed Duet LCD enclosure first, then fasten to the frame.
