Assisting Families in Enrolling in CCDF

If a family is needing assistance they will submit the Build, Learn, Grow Scholarship Application found here: https://brighterfuturesindiana.org/scholarships/families

The provider will utilize the Build, Learn, Grow, Scholarship Eligibility Tool to identify if a family falls at 128% and above. If they do, they can utilize the Build, Learn, Grow Scholarship Fund. They can receive up to 80% tuition, based on household income.

If the family falls at or below 127% of FPL, the family will continue to the next step to receive CCDF funding, which covers 53 weeks of tuition assistance.

Gather all required documentation. Each local CCDF eligibility office has a checklist of items that are required.

Provider assists families with completing an Early Ed Connect Application. During the last step of that process, upload supporting documentation including the provider information page that is to be completed by the provider.

After the Early Ed Connect Application is submitted, the family should schedule an appointment with their local CCDF eligibility office using the online scheduling feature.

If the family is approved during their appointment with their local CCDF eligibility office, they will be issued a voucher. The voucher should be given to the provider.

7 The provider will review the voucher report to determine charges and information are correct.

If a client has been an applicant or a child on the program they will not be able to fill out an online application. If they do, it will show up as a duplicate error during their Early Ed Connect application.

They will have to submit a pre-application with their local eligibility office.
