5. SHOULD WATER BE ALLOWED TO SOAK INTO EXISTING SOIL, THE CONTRACTOR IS TO EXCAVATE ANDREMOVE THE WATER-AFFECTED SOIL UNTIL SOIL WITH EXISTING, EQUILIBRIUM MOISTURE CONTENT ISFOUND. THE EXCAVATED AREA IS THEN TO BE BACKFILLED WITH SELECTED FILL AND COMPACTED INACCORDANCE WITH THE CIVIL SPECIFICATION.

8. THE CONTRACTOR IS TO INSTALL APPROPRIATE SEDIMENT TRAPS AT ALL ENTRIES (AT SEP AND GIP)TO THE UNDERGROUND STORMWATER DRAINS AND IN SWALES. INSTALL SEDIMENT FENCE AT SITEPERIMETER WHERE SITE RUNOFF COULD CROSS. THE CONTRACTOR TO MAINTAIN THESE TRAPSREGULARLY.
