2. BRAND YOURSELF

➤ Present a consistent message: what kind of researcher are you? What kind of teacher are you? What connects these together?

➤ Make it visible: decide which social media sites you want to use: LinkedIn, academia.edu, Twitter, about.me, etc.

➤ Use your connections strategically: connect to other scholars on those sites to network digitally

➤ Double it: Use profile page/about page your institution provides to list your information and link to your site

➤ Privacy: Carefully manage privacy settings on more personal social media

3. CURATE YOUR WORK
