COMMITTEE REPORTS Events Committee Chair is Kim Piazza Join us for our Home Tour kick off Member Mixer at Railroad Pizza & Pub 5:00 to 7:00 pm on September 7, to kick off the 11th Annual SICBA Home Tour. The theme is Jerseys and Jeans, so wear your favorite team’s jersey and of course jeans. Pizza, salad and bread sticks will be provided. Register for this event beginning August 1st at www.SICBAEvents.com. The home tour this year runs September 8, 9, 10 and consists of 10 homes in Skagit and Island Counties. Judging for these home will take place earlier on the 7th, so ribbons for the winners will be presented at the Member Mixer. If you have a home in the tour, make sure to attend and invite your home owners, and sub-contractors so you can receive your ribbons to display. Membership Committee Chair is Dee Dee Swartz The membership committee is excited to introduce you to the newest member of the SICBA office Team: Elli Haddick! For 25 years, Rayna has been doing SICBA’s financials, membership services, education and promoting the Return On Industrial Insurance program. She is ready to reduce her hours, so the position of Membership Director is being passed on to Elli. As a Skagit County native and with a background in Membership services Elli is a wonderful addition to our team. We are in the midst of our Peer To Pier Cruise Membership Drive – anyone who recruits a new member and that new member will join us on Friday, September 29

If you didn’t golf or didn’t at least visit SICBA’s Golf Tournament on July 14th, you missed a great time and great food! It was an early start and a long day for some but everyone had a great time! Thank you to all the sponsors of the tournament, all the great volunteers that helped with all the logistics of the tournament and a great big THANK YOU to the volunteers that made up the Golf Committee. The tournament was completely full this year and was very orderly and fun. Now we need to focus our attention on the SICBA Home Tour coming up September 8, 9 and 10. The kickoff for this event will be on September 7th at Railroad Pizza in Burlington (click here) so mark this on your calendar and come for a good time and to support all the hard work those on the tour and those on the tour committee have done over the last few months!
