addressed Member Industries on 08.05.19 at TMA
Conference hall & requested to provide employment
to the Wards of Police personnel in Taloja MIDC.

TMA had organized Tree Plantation program in association with Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC), MIDC, Mumbai Waste Management & jointly with all the Industries at Taloja MIDC Industrial area on the occasion of World Environment day on 04thJune 2019. At this Mega Event tree Plants were planted on the main roadside of TMA office building, divider on the main road, in front of United Vander Horst Ltd Company, Flamingo, Ball Beverage packaging pvt ltd etc. Mrs. Tejaswini Galande Asst. Commissioner PMC supported by providing tree plant saplings from PMC quota & other necessary facilities for doing the Tree Plantation. Also Authorities from MIDC Shri K.S. Bhandekar ,SE, MIDC (WS), Shri Rahul Mote SRO MPCB & other Government Officials participated in this program.The students from MGM College & Infinity Foundation (around 50 nos.) participated at the said program. The Tree Plantation program was performed by Smt. Sandhya Bavankule Dy. Commissioner PMC & other Officials from MIDC, MPCB & Managing Committee of TMA. Total 75 no. of participates attended the said program. TMA is going to keep the Tree Plantation drive throughout Monsoon (ie, July, Aug & Sep 2019) by planting 20,000 trees at Taloja MIDC Industrial area.

“SAFETY COMPETITION FOR THE YEAR 2019”
TMA & MARG had organized “SAFETY
COMPETITION FOR THE YEAR 2019” at Taloja
MIDC. Industrial units in Taloja MIDC had actively
participated in the various Safety competitions. The
Prize distribution of these Competitions was held on
13.06.2019 at TMA Conference Hall. Total 28
participants from various Industries were awarded
Trophies at the hands of Shri M. R. Patil Joint Director
DISH Raigad, Chief Guest at the said program.
Shri Ajaykumar Landge Sr. P.I Taloja Police Station has performed distinguished work specifically, in the area of controlling the theft of Transformer Oil in Taloja MIDC Industrial area, due to which the breakdown of power supply to Industries has been minimized & has also saved financial losses of MSEDCL. Considering his outstanding work Taloja Manufacturers’ Association (TMA) in association with MSEDCL Officials has felicitated Shri Ajaykumar Landge Sr. P.I on 25.06.19 at TMA office.

TMA had taken Pre-Monsoon meeting with MSEDCL Authorities on 09.05.19 to discuss the issues pertaining to MSEDCL faced by Industries during the Monsoon period. To review the progress of the work done by MSEDCL Authorities meeting was conducted on 15.06.19. Also TMA had taken up the Power related issues & difficulties faced by Industries in Taloja MIDC with Shri Dineshchandra Saboo, Director Operation MSEDCL on 06.06.19 at his Prakash Gad office. The Director Operation informed that, the budget of Rs. 10 Crs has been approved for Taloja MIDC Industrial area. At the end of the meeting TMA Committee Members had offered “TMA Industrial Directory,2018” to Director Operation. Further, to review & understand the exact status about the execution of work done by MSEDCL Authorities, TMA had a meeting with MSEDCL Authorities on 25.06.19 at TMA Office.

Pre Monsoon Review Meeting was organized by MPCB Authorities in respect of Air, Water, Hazardous Pollution and illegal Industrial discharge through tanker into Ghot & Kasardi Rivers at Taloja MIDC on 19.06.19 at TMA Conference hall. In the said meeting, to control all the illegal activities in Taloja MIDC Industrial area, it was suggested by RO MPCB to install CCTV Cameras on the banks of Ghot river till Kasardi River upto Chemical Zone for that, 11 Members Committee was formed, which includes Police, MIDC,MPCB Authorities & Representatives from Industries.

Fire incident occurred on 14.06.19 at M/s Cognizant Chemicals Pvt Ltd Plot no.W- 216, Taloja, MIDC at 3.30 am. The highly inflammable raw material Isopropyl Alcohol was stored in the barrels & two tanks of 50,000 ltrs capacity each in the premises. When the barrels & the shed caught fire the team of Fire Station Taloja MIDC under the leadership of Shri Deepak Dorugade managed to prevent a bigger blaze by not allowing the blaze to reach the two storage tanks. When the barrels caught fire & the chemical stored spilled in the nearby, open drainage that also was ablaze. The immediate help of nearby Fire Stations viz, MIDC Ambernath & MIDC Rabale Water Bowser , Navi Mumbai Water bowser, CIDCO Water Bowser & Fire Tender, CISF Fire Tender were used to douse the blaze & restrict the fire in the surrounding area which avoided big mishap. The Managing Committee Members of Taloja Manufacturers’ Association (TMA) had appreciated Shri Deepak Dorugade & his team for taking timely action & efficiently controlling of the said fire.

We are glad to inform all the Member Industries, that one of our Member Industry M/s HMTD ENGINEERING PVT LTD, Plot no. D-4, Taloja, MIDC has received a Prestigious Award for “Indigenization of Torpedo Motor & Controller” on 15.06.2019 at Mumbai .This Award was organized by Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL). and awarded by heads of NSTL, DRDO and the Western command Navy, the same was received by Shri Balakrishnan Sankar,MD, HMTD ENGINEERING PVT LTD. We once again, congratulate M/s HMTD ENGINEERING PVT LTD for this achievement.
