    that God raised him from the dead on the third day;

    that he is coming again in glory to reign.

    Heaven and earth will never be the same!

    This is the good news we tell to all the world:

    Nursery Volunteers Needed!Arent babies adorable? Wouldnt you love to spend an hour just playing, cooing,

    rocking and holding one? Volunteers are needed to service in the nursery during the

    10:30 service one Sunday a month, beginning this summer. We have 3 more babies

    coming this summer who will join the adorable crew that is already a part of our

    nursery ministry, which means we need to add to our team of volunteers. To join this

    happy bunch, contact Vikki Randall at [email protected].

    Summer Ministry DonationsPlease help us gather supplies for our two big summer outreach ministries-- Family

    Camp and Jump Start. Donations can be left in the basket in the narthex (lobby) of the

    church. Here's a partial list of what is needed:

    For Family Camp (June 24-28):

    scrap wood pieces in assorted shapes/sizes, anywhere from 2" square to 15"square.

    science equipment-- test tubes, other sorts of lab equipment (to be returnedafter camp)

    interesting/unusual old-fashioned "gadgets"-- kitchen, etc.(to be returnedafter camp)

    bags of chips fresh fruit or veggies (please bring weekend of June 23rd only)For Jump Start (back-to-school daycamp Aug. 5-9) gently used or new children's books in good condition school & art supplies of all sorts gently used or new backpacks bags of chips fresh fruit or veggies (please bring weekend of Aug. 4th only)

    Trusted prayer partners will be available after the service, at the front of the

    Sanctuary, to listen and pray with anyone who so desires.

    Parents of in fants: If needed/desired, a nursing moms room is located in the lobby

    with video link to the worship service. A nursery with loving caregivers is also

    available across the courtyard.

    Please join us in the courtyard for light refreshments and a time to be together

    immediately following the service.

    Once Upon a Parable: June 2nd

    On Sunday, June 2nd

    , the Pasadena Covenant Childrens Choir will present the musical,Once Upon a Parable during the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Invite your friends to this

    wonderful performance.

    No Sunday School June 2ndThere will be no Sunday school on Sunday, June 2nd for 2 year olds through 5th grade.

    Instead, we invite children to stay in the worship service with their parents to enjoy the

    musical brought by our wonderful childrens choir.

    Summer Ministry Planning & Prayer Lunch: June 2ndPlease join us for lunch Sun., June 2, at 12:15 in the Corner House to plan and pray for our

    two big summer outreach ministries: Family Camp (June 24-28) and Jump Start (Aug. 5-

    9). Learn more about our vision for these ministries, find out how you can be involved,

    meet the rest of the volunteer staff, and pray for doors to be opened. Please RSVP to Vikki
