Liturgies this week

The Rosary The Rosary is prayed in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament Mass, Tuesday. – Saturday., before Mass.

“O Sacred Heart of Jesus I Place My Trust in Thee”

“O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in thee,”Whatever may befall me, Lord, though dark the hour may be.In all my joys, in all my woes, though naught be grief I see.“O Sacred heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee.”

When those I love have passed away and I am sore distressed,O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I fly to thee for rest.In all my trials, great or small, my confidence shall be,Unshaken, as I cry, dear Lord, I place my trust in Thee.”

This is my own sweet prayer, dear Lord! My faith, my trust, my love,But, most of all, in that last hour, when death points up above,Ah, then, sweet Saviour, may Thy face smile on my soul set free.Oh, may I cry with rapturous love, “I’ve placed my trust in Thee.” Amen

Before Summer, Holidays and CottagesThe regular contributions received through the direct debit program really make a difference to the financial health of the parish. This new initiative has been embraced by an increasing number of our parishioners. If you, too, would like to use the direct debit plan as an option, please pick up the information from the church vestibule or call our parish office for further details. We thank you for your continued support of Our Lady of Lourdes parish.

Please remember your parish

Memorial Fund – Donations to the parish in memory of a beloved deceased: in lieu of flowers, contributions could be made to the parish in memory of deceased friends, relatives, business associates or neighbours. Memorial fund cards are available in the church vestibule or through the parish office.

Bequests – The long-term care and maintenance of this large complex property will be greatly assisted by your remembrance in your estate plans. Even a portion of your estate, e.g. 5% would be deeply appreciated and most helpful. Thank you.
