You are the visible face of the invisible Father,of the God who manifests his power above all by forgiveness and mercy:let the Church be your visible face in the world, its Lord risen and glorified.You willed that your ministers would also be clothed in weakness

in order that they may feel compassion for those in ignorance and error:let everyone who approaches them feel sought after, loved, and forgiven by God.

Send your Spirit and consecrate every one of us with its anointing,so that your Church, with renewed enthusiasm, may bring good news to the poor, proclaim liberty to captives and the oppressed,and restore sight to the blind.

We ask this through the intercession of Mary, Mother of Mercy,you who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever.

HOMELESS MINISTRYHomeless Ministry provides USC students the opportunity to serve those who are without homes on Skid Row. We'll meet on front of Newman Hall at the Catholic Center at 6pm on Wednesdays and head directly to the St. Vincent de Paul Cardinal Manning Center. The Cardinal Manning Center offers a comprehensive program for homeless men transitioning off the streets into housing through intensive case management services.

It's a great way to serve alongside your fellow Trojans and break out of the USC bubble! Contact Mary Madden (mamadden@usc.edu) for questions.

LITURGY VOLUNTEERS NEEDEDInterested in serving at Mass as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan, or Altar Server? No experience is necessary and any help is greatly appreciated! PRAISE & WORSHIP BAND - JAM NIGHTOCT 1 @ 7pm in Newman Hall // We're starting a Praise & Worship band! The band will lead worship on Catholic Trojan Retreats, Savior Series, and other spiritual events that we provide at Our Savior Church. If you would like to be a part of this worship community as a singer, instrumentalist, or audio visual support team, we would love for you to come pray with us at our first ever JAM SESSION. SAVIOR SERIES: ANCHORED // SEP 17TUE SEP 17 @ 7pm in Newman Hall at USC Caruso Catholic Center // In Part II of this 3-part series we will explore how to anchor our life to Christ in our IDENTITY. Join the Catholic Trojan Family in worship, fellowship, a powerful message, and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. All are invited regardless of your faith background. This week's Savior Series takes place on TUE SEP 17 @ 7pm in Newman Hall.

CATHOLIC TROJAN III FALL RETREATEarly Bird Registration Deadline // SEP 20CTIII Retreat takes place October 16-18. Join your fellow Catholic Trojans during Fall Break for a mid-week retreat sure to strengthen your relationship with God while building friendships centered on Christ. Expect great food, prayer, laughter, worship, sacraments, powerful talks, and authentic friendships throughout the three days.

This year, our fall retreat will take place at Serra Retreat Center in Malibu. Register by THIS FRIDAY 9/20 for a discounted rate. Scholarships are available and cost should never be a reason for you to not attend.
