Campbell Altenburg
from 6W who came third in
his age group at the
Regional Cross Country in
Cambewarra on Friday.
This means that Campbell
has qualified to run at the
NSW State Cross Country
Championships at Eastern
Creek in July!
Our nine other Bungendore
runners also did really well,
on a very hilly and wet course!

WEEK 6 TERM 2
Bungendore School Choir performed last Thursday night at the District Choral
Festival and were fantastic!! Not only did they sing beautifully but their
behaviour throughout the whole day was always perfect!!

INTERSCHOOLS SNOW SPORTS COMPETITION
Bungendore school is entering a team in the 2016
Interschools Snow Sports Competition.
This year the first stage competition will be held on 27 - 29 July
at Perisher.

Great success for the Hair & Flair Disco last
Friday night!
A huge thank you goes out to Sam Bowering
and Jennifer Harrison for organising the hair
and flair disco last Friday night. It was great
to see so many out on such a cold night
dancing the night away!
Thank you to everyone who volunteered to
cook sausages, steaks and schnitzels,
popcorn, drinks and more. We were very
grateful for all of your help as we all enjoyed
a dance with our families, so a huge thank
you to you all.
Uniform Shop News
Opening hours
Normal opening hours resume on Friday 10
June from 2:45-3:45pm.
Term 3 – open every second Friday on weeks
1, 3, 5, 7 & 9 between 2:45-3:45pm
If you are unable to get to the uniform shop
during these hours, please complete the
order form and leave with the office. All
orders left at the office will be filled on
Friday’s during the shop opening hours.
Bungendore’s Got Talent
Entries for Bungendore’s Got Talent (BGT)
close Friday 10 June.
Primary heats (years 3-6) will be held on
Friday 17 June and Infants (K-2) will follow on
Friday 24 June. Finals will be held on 1 July.
P&C meetings
The next P&C general meeting will be held
on Tuesday 14 June at 7pm in the Staff
Room.
Recipe book update
We've received a number of recipes from
our families however we still need some
more. If you've got any recipe that's a hit
with the family please send it in to us at the
office or via email;
Every family who enters a recipe will be
entered into the draw to win the very first
Cookbook off the press. Don't miss out!
Election Day Stalls
We will be running a BBQ and drinks stall on
Election Day because how can you vote
without a steak sandwich? We’ll also have a
cake stall and a silent art auction featuring
an artwork from every class. To make this
fundraiser a success we need some
volunteers to bake and to run the BBQ and
drinks stalls. If you can volunteer an hour of
your time on the day to raise some money
for our kids and the school, please sign up

Each Friday the Yr6 school Captains will sort through the items and send any labelled
items back to their owners. Anything not labelled will be put out in the quadrangle
before and after school on Fridays for parents and students to check through.
