BAI REGISTRATION

To register to BAI, click this link: http://www.intercommerce.com.ph/registrationbai.asp

Fill out all the required fields then click the Submit button.

If there’s no Address Abroad, please indicate “Not Applicable”.

After clicking the Submit button, the page will be directed to your application. Fill out the required fields.

Note: Quarantine Site is the province / City where you will stay here in the Philippines.

Item Lookup

Click the Item Lookup button to select the pet you are importing. Select the item by ticking the circle beside

the item description. Then click the Select button.

Fill up all the mandatory fields (White Fields). Indicate the Microchip Number for Dogs and Cats

importations. Click Save Item.

Once the item has been saved, tick Document Requirements.

NOTE: REQUIREMENTS FOR IMPORTERS of CATS and DOGS

First Time Local Importers:

• Imports a maximum of 3 animals, once a year; OR

• Imports a maximum of 3 animals, more than once a year, provided that the same animals identified

through its microchip numbers are imported (for owners frequently travelling with pets)

Requirements/Attachments:

1. Notarized Affidavit of Undertaking – BAI MC 43 Annex A for Filipinos, Annex C for Foreigners

2. Proof of MICROCHIP NUMBER of the subject dog/s and/or cat/s

3. VACCINATION and DEWORMING RECORDS (Original or Certified True Copy) of the subject dog/s

and/or cat/s (front page and inside page with updated vaccination and deworming

4. PHOTOGRAPH/S of the subject dog/s and/or cat/s

5. PET PASSPORT (personal details of the subject dog/s and/or cat/s), if applicable

6. BIR-issued ID with TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (TIN) or any identification card showing the TIN

number of the client/applicant

Commercial Importers of Cats and Dogs

Importers of dogs and cats for regular, commercial purposes such as for breeding, kennel, exhibit, pet

transport or resell. A Certificate of Accreditation (As Live Animal Importer) shall be issued to such kind of

importers.

Requirements/Attachments:

1. Notarized Affidavit of Undertaking for Commercial Importers - BAI MC 43 Annex B

2. Proof of MICROCHIP NUMBER/S;

3. VACCINATION AND DEWORMING RECORDS of the subject dog/s and/or cat/s;

4. PHOTOGRAPH/S of the subject dog/s and/or cat/s;

5. PET PASSPORT of subject dog/s and/or cat/s (if applicable);

6. BIR-issued ID with TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (TIN) of the undersigned;

7. Mayor’s BUSINESS PERMIT (certified true copy);

8. BIR REGISTRATION (certified true copy);

9. DTI REGISTRATION (certified true copy);

10. SEC REGISTRATION (if juridical entity) [certified true copy];

11. AMO Accreditation from the Bureau of Customs;

12. BAI-AHWD CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION OF ANIMAL FACILITY (for facilities keeping a minimum of

20 dogs/cats or more);

13. SECRETARY’S CERTIFICATE (in case of representative of juridical entity); and

14. NOTARIZED LEASE OF CONTRACT OR PROOF OF OWNERSHIP of animal facility.

Once the documents has been attached, the status of the application is will be ‘Created’.

Click the Send button to submit your application to Bureau of Animal Industry.

After sending your application, a message will prompt you to certify that the encoded information in your

application is correct. Click the Agree button then click Continue button to proceed.

The status of your application will now be tagged as Under Review, review and approval will be done by BAI.

Email Notification

An email notification will be sent to confirm your registration and application.

Once the SPS import clearance has been approved, you may now print your application. Log in to

www.intercommerce.com.ph using your registered name and password. Tick the tick box of Create/Open

SPS Import Clearance for One Time then click Submit button.

Select Company Name/Importer Name then click Next button.

Select an action, Open an Existing Application, and then click the Next button.
