Mission Statement

We at NANA WorelyParsons recognize the need and
responsibility to adequately prepare for and successfully recover
from emergency situations by establishing mitigation measures,
interim actions, and a recovery strategy for a business
disruption.
Objective

This NANA WorleyParsons Business Continuity Plan (BCP) establishes
the organization, response actions and administrative procedures
necessary to resume critical functions after a significant disruption.
Scope
Our people make the difference.
This Business Continuity Plan includes actions for responders to re-establish critical activities
at NANA WorleyParsons’ Anchorage and Kenai locations.
For a business disruption on the North Slope, critical activities will be prioritized by the
respective Clients.

This plan is designed to assist NANA WorelyParsons in recovering
critical business functions within the first 30 days; specifically:
• Re-occupation of office
• Re-prioritizing active projects
• Re-assigning personnel
• Securing alternate operating facilities for resumption of business

The Incident Management Team (IMT) is made up of:
• NANA WorleyParsons’ Senior Managers and the Business
Operations Manager
• Additional personnel will be added for specific functions
(Safety, ICT)
• Not every disaster requires a fully-staffed IMT

• Incident Commander will initiate calls to the IMT.
• After a significant event, staff should wait for a member of the
IMT to contact them and refrain from calling supervisors
unless instructed to do so.

(888) 785-3822 and/or check the company website at
www.nanaworleyparsons.com for information.
• If telecommunications are NOT operational, tune in to 750AM (KFQD), the
local emergency broadcast station, for general information.

• NANA WorleyParsons has access to ConocoPhillips’ and BP Exploration’s family message
service, available 24/7 after activated by BP or CPAI .
• If it is possible to call outside of Alaska, staff and their families should call:

• Family status and contact information will be provided to NANA WorleyParsons staff.

• Follow safety procedures, including use of stairwells, fire extinguishers, fire
alarms, evacuation, or hold in place.
• If evacuation is warranted, evacuate yourselves only, taking along coats and car
keys, if time and the nature of the disaster allow.
• Upon re-entering the building, do not attempt to turn on computers until ICT
checks the system and issues an all-clear.

• In the event the disaster precludes reoccupying the building, management will confer with
owners to contact client corporate offices.
• Senior Management will need information to prioritize projects.
• Requests for other NANA Development Corporation or WorleyParsons assets and
personnel to complete particularly critical projects, are to go through the President &
General Manager or designee.

• If a severe disaster occurs while away from the office:

• Reserve cellular telephone service for life-threatening emergencies.
• If incident occurs while at home, take the time to safeguard yourself,
your home, and your family until communications or road access can be
re-established.

• If a power outage occurs while you’re at work, do not turn your computer on
until you receive an “all clear” from ICT.

• Prioritize active projects.
• Be ready to communicate your prioritized list to your supervisor when
communications are re-established, including:
• Overall importance of project
• Project due date
• Feasibility of project being completed by someone else

• Follow any directions given by ICT.
• For a prolonged interruption, prioritize your projects, highlighting:
• Projects particularly critical to the Company
• Projects with near term deadlines
• Gather any hard-copy documents, along with any data saved to CD’s or disks, in event a
virus-free workstation becomes available.
• If necessary, request hard copies of archived files.

• Only Senior Managers will contact clients regarding any delays in
deliverables.
• Senior Managers may use other NANA Development Corporation or
WorleyParsons assets in order to complete particularly critical projects.
• Requests for assets are to go through the President & General
Manager or designee

• NANA WorleyParsons will work with Anchorage’s Health and Human
Services to contain outbreak and keep common areas safe.
• IMT will convene, in person or by phone, regarding mandated or self-
imposed quarantine and to prioritize active projects.
• If office is quarantined, affected staff will be contacted and told to stay away
from office building.

• IMT will determine how many staff, or families of staff, are
affected by the illness.
• Staff not directly affected may be assigned to highest priority
projects.
• Senior Management will contact clients to discuss new
deliverable dates for active projects.

• IMT may contact the WorleyParsons Canada office for additional
support on high priority projects.
• Qualifications to work on prioritized projects will need to be made
available to WorleyParsons Canada.
• Statements of qualifications and/or resumes should be kept up
to date.

• IMT will work with the landlords of all buildings where the
Company is a tenant to determine when, and under what
conditions, staff may return to the buildings.

to determine the extent of the breach.
• Senior Management will compile a list of damaged or stolen
equipment, documents, etc..
• If active projects are impacted, management will contact affected
clients, describing any proprietary information that may have
been compromised.

• The goals and objectives of compromised projects may be re-
prioritized through Senior Management, who will confer with
clients and partners.
• NANA WorleyParsons will review security measures and work
with building security to determine if additional measures are
needed to prevent another occurrence.

• All relevant contingencies for fire, evacuation, and/or the
attainment of alternative office space apply in the event of
terrorism.
• NANA WorleyParsons will cooperate with law enforcement and
building security.
• Senior Management may determine that staff should work from
home for a period of time after an act of terrorism.

• If staff will not be reporting to work for a period of time, prioritize
your active projects, considering overall importance and due date.
• Senior Management may request support from owner offices (i.e.:
personnel or office space).
• Senior Management may retain the services of a mental health
professional that specializes in post traumatic stress for employee
assistance and/or full staff presentation.

• At least annually, NANA WorleyParsons should update contact
and emergency information on all staff.
• Senior Managers should review procedures to determine if they
still apply, and add or delete procedures as necessary.
• NANA WorleyParsons will update all landlords’ emergency
contact information.

• Choose an out-of-area contact to relay messages in the event family
members are separated.
• Keep children’s school and/or day care emergency contact lists current,
and include people authorized to pick up your children who live on both
sides of any bridges that must be crossed.
• Decide on muster points for your family. Select:
• A location near your home in case of fire
• A location away from your neighborhood in case returning home is
not possible

• Maintain an Emergency kit for your home with:
• 3-day supply of nonperishable food per person
• 3-day supply of bottled water per person
• can opener
• first aid kit
• flashlight and extra batteries that fit it
• battery-operated radio that includes AM stations, and extra batteries
• blankets
• copies of your insurance documents

• Make sure everyone in your home knows how to use your fire
extinguishers.
• Know how to shut off your utilities and hang the correct tools near the
shut-off valves.
• If you have a wood-burning fireplace, keep a supply of firewood on hand.
• Review your plan annually with your family and anyone else that is
included in your plan, such as emergency contact people for your
children’s school or day care.
