NEMO Science Museum has 13 multifunctional rooms that can accommodate between 8 and 2,000 people, with the possibility of hosting an event surrounded by one of the colourful exhibitions. Your guests will arrive in a stunningly designed building with spectacular views of the city of Amsterdam, giving any event at NEMO a little something extra.

Events at NEMO Science Museum have a distinctive edge thanks to a touch of science. Break into your official programme with an exciting technological challenge, like creating a chain reaction with light beams in our ‘Build a light track’ workshop. Or surprise participants with a team building activity such as laser tag or an escape room in the museum.

Creative customized catering

Catering is customized to your needs at NEMO Science Museum. We are happy to work with you and our chef to make your ideas come to life. Would you like to see a link to science and technology in your catering? Consider adding a smoking cocktail to your menu!

NEMO’s Studio

In addition to the wide range of options available at NEMO Science Museum, we also have access to a 900 sq. m. space on the adjacent Marineterrein. The industrial design of the building, the unique location and the property’s rich history make the Studio an exciting place for events. A visit to the Studio can easily be combined with a visit to NEMO.

Sustainable choice

NEMO Science Museum is easily accessible by public transport. We make our own operations increasingly sustainable using LED lighting, cradle-to-cradle materials and by working with local suppliers. If desired, we offer organic catering including UTZ-certified coffee and honey made by the bees on our living roof.
