Award Categories
Nominations for outstanding business achievements are now being accepted by Haldimand County’s Economic Development and Tourism Division.
Nominations are accepted for any Haldimand business in operation for 3 years or more in the categories:
Agri-business
Business
Tourism
Youth Entrepreneur Award—Recognizing outstanding entrepreneurs
under 30 years old.
Award Criteria
Nominees must:
Be a business located within Haldimand County.
In business for 3 years or more (excluding Youth
Entrepreneur Award).
Judges will be considering businesses that
demonstrate:
strength through overcoming challenges;
a record of growth through expansion, staffing and/or sales; and
a commitment to Haldimand County through community involvement.

sectors across Haldimand, as well as
representatives from Chambers of Commerce,
Business Improvement Areas and community
agencies to attend the Business Excellence Awards.

Application Process
Nominator completes form on back and returns to
Haldimand County by February 19, 2016.
Nominee completes an acceptance form and
information package (provided by Haldimand
County upon receipt of nomination form).
Nominee attaches supplemental documents,
pictures, videos, news stories or other material
that supports the nomination.
Individuals or groups may nominate more than
one person or organization.
Self-nominations are accepted.
A panel of judges will select the winners and reserve the right to re-categorize a nomination. Submissions will be
evaluated ONLY on the information provided in the nomination package. The decisions of the panel will be
