What is Activity Spearheading?

• Activity Spearheading is a term-long activity of the Business Management Society for the Junior Officers that gives them the opportunity to become project heads for the various activities of the organization in different committees.

How to participate in the Activity Spearheading?

• The Junior Officers can partake in this term-long activity by choosing the activity they want to become a part of from the list offered.

• February 11• A seminar that will entice the freshmen

students to become involved in the community and mold them to become future Lasallian leaders.

• Applied Corporate Management– Internship Simulation: A Day as an

Intern • March 12• A whole day (9-4pm) workshop that would

help the students to be more prepared for their first internship stint. This simulation will invite previous ACM interns who would act as the bosses with diverse personalities and the ACM Batch 111 students as the interns.

• Jan. 24 – Feb. 4• An activity that will attract individuals to apply

for open positions in the Academic Core and select qualified applicants to compose this year’s Academic Core.

– MGT Pride Campaign • Feb. 7 – 10• An exhibit that will highlighting the

achievements of some MGT graduate students.

• February 11• A talk that will feature the first batch of

graduates of MGT to share their experiences.– Statistics Refresher

• February 25• An informative seminar that will provide the students

important knowledge regarding their Thesis Paper. This activity will also assist them on how they can apply the things they have learned in researching. There will also be an online distribution of thesis manuals.

• March 4• A workshop that will help students improve

their speaking skills and help them prepare for the presentation of their papers in their major projects.

• January 15• DLSU students will go to ADMU for a day of fun

and learning interaction– BMS Cares: Coastal Clean-up

• March 19• The organization go to an area where they can

help plant trees for the benefit of One Million Trees

• March 26• This activity will involve teaching students

from grade 1-3 subjects just like basic English and Mathematics.

• Publications– Spread the Love

• Feb. 7 – 11• A weeklong activity that aims to publicize the

Business Management Society. This activity shall aware the Lasallians about the existence of the organization.

• Promotions– Internship Knowhow’s: Jet Setting with

Animation• January 22, 2011• One of the continuous seminars to be held

within the year that help students utilize the Adobe applications.

• Promotions– Green Evolution Series

• Termlong • A three part series wherein an on the spot

contest will be held, where each participant will only use recycled and reusable materials to create an artwork. Simultaneously an awareness campaign campaign would be held wherein all posters would relay staggering statistics and data to raise environmental awareness amongst students. A week long gallery would then follow, showing the winning entry from the contest.

• March 14 – 19• A booth/ exhibit presented at the end of the term

showcasing the past BMS activities and accomplishments for the past few years and of the term. This activity will also serve as a way for the members to catch up on the activities that the organization has conducted during the past term, and may also be a way for them to remember the things they did when they attended the said activities. Also, this will serve as a venue for non-members to know about the activities of the organization.

• March 18• A contest open to all DLSU students wherein

students will create a material fit for BMS.

officers in handling and managing a project by tackling the different types of processes required for various kinds of activities.
