Arm® Cortex®-M0+ based 32-bit Flash MCU Series HT32F52357/52367 – Suitable for high resource low power applications

Holtek is delighted to announce the release of its new generation Arm® Cortex®-M0+ Microcontroller devices, the HT32F52357/52367 series. These new devices include excellent features such as high operating efficiency, an extensive range of resources and lower power consumption. These devices are suitable for a wide range of applications such as TFT-LCDs, intelligent door locks, IoT terminal devices, wearable devices, intelligent home appliances and USB game peripherals, etc.

This new series include functions such as a high operating speed of 60 MHz and an operating voltage range of 1.65V~3.6V. The devices additionally support an independent VDDIO pin to facilitate connection of external components which have a different voltage to the VDD voltage. With regard to memory the devices contain 128/256K bytes of Flash Program Memory and 16/32K bytes of SRAM Data Memory. Additional functions

include abundant peripheral resources, such as two USART interfaces, four UART interfaces, two I2C interfaces, two SPI interfaces, USB and EBI interfaces and so on. The devices also contain a 6-channel PDMA and a 12-channel 1 Mbps SAR A/D Converter. They also provide a CRC16/32 data checking mechanism and a hardware divider. A newly added QSPI interface works together with the EBI interface which can transmit data at higher speeds, suitable for TFT-LCD related applications. In addition, two 500 Ksps 12-bit D/A Converters and an AES-128 hardware encrypt ion mechan ism have been added, further increasing the application possibilities.

The  HT32F52357/52367  devices are supplied in 46-pin QFN and 48/64/80-pin LQFP package types and contain from 37 to 67 GPIO pins. In their low power consumption mode (DeepSleep1/2), the devices support wake-up functions on any I/O-pin, which makes the design of the power saving mode more convenient.

The integrated reference voltage is used for A/D Converter measurement calibration, and suitable for low-power battery applications.

In addition to being supported by professional IDE suppliers including IAR, the entire series have been licensed by Kei l for free use. Addit ional ly , Holtek also provides demo boards and development platform kits. The Holtek development platform includes an ICE e-Link32 Pro, a full set of peripheral driver firmware libraries, application example source code, application development handbooks as well as the GNU GCC and a flexible make compilation environment. HT45F0058 Induction Cooker MCU

With a focus in the induction cooker application area, Holtek announces the re lease of i ts new induct ion cooker MCU, the  HT45F0058. The device includes an internal hardware frequency jittering function, which can effectively reduce the IGBT VCE voltage and therefore reduce any generated electromagnetic interference (EMI) when the induction cooker operates in a high power condition. The device has reduced the costs of any required anti-electromagnetic interference components and has passed EMI standard testing.

With regard to the resources, the device contains a 4K×16 Flash Program Memory, a 256×8 Data Memory, a 32×8 Data EEPROM. With regards to

peripheral features, the device includes a 9-bit Programmable Pulse Generator, four comparators, an Over Voltage Protection function and an Operational Amplifier with internal programmable gain. The device has a range of hardware protection mechanisms including surge protection and IGBT VCE  over-voltage protection which protect the IGBT from damage. The device is supplied in 16-pin NSOP package type.

HT66F3185 A/D MCU with EEPROM

Holtek announces the release of a new addition to its A/D type Flash MCU range with the new HT66F3185. As an extension product of the HT66F0185, this new device has a wide operating voltage range of 1.8V~5.5V, integrated high accuracy osci l lators, a more accurate A/D reference voltage, an extended 12-channel A/D Converter, an IAP function and a smaller outline QFN package. The device will find excellent use in household appliance products such as coffee makers, electric kettles, electric stoves, rice cookers, soybean milk machines, etc. The device is also suitable for use in low profile products, such as smart wearable devices, lithium battery protection boards, etc.

With regard to its other functions, the device has a Flash Program Memory capacity of 4K×16, a Data Memory capacity of 256×8 and an EEPROM capacity of 128×8. As for peripheral functions, the device contains mult i functional Timer Modules, a 12-bit A/D converter, comparators, SPI, I2C and UART interfaces. The internal oscillator can select operating frequencies of 8, 12 or 16 MHz with an accuracy of up to ±1%. The A/D converter reference voltage is 1.2V with an accuracy of up to ±1% . As for packaging the device is supplied in 20-pin SOP, 24/28-pin SOP and SSOP and 24/28-pin QFN package types. The device is pin compatible with the HT66F0185 and HT66F3195 with the same package types.

BC66F5652/BC66F5662 2.4GHz RF Transceiver A/D MCUsHoltek is delighted to announce the release of two new 2.4GHz RF SoC MCUs, the BC66F5652 and BC66F5662. These new devices have data rates of 125Kbps, 250Kbps and 500Kbps and provide extremely stable transmission qual ity. Both are compatible with the market RF 2.4GHz proprietary IC packet format, making them suitable for use in smart home appliances, industrial/agricultural controllers, etc., in applications which require stable 2.4GHz wireless two-way transmission.

W i t h r e g a r d s t o m e m o r y , the  BC66F5652/BC66F5662  devices include 8K/16K×16 of Flash Program Memory, 512/2048×8 of Data Memory and 128/1024×8 of True EEPROM memory. As for other functions, these include multi-functional Timer Modules, high accuracy HIRC/LIRC oscillators, a 12-bit A/D Converter which includes an internal reference voltage with a high accuracy of ±1%, a comparator, SPI/I2C/UART interfaces and full support for IAP on-line upgrades. The RF section has a programmable transmitt ing power ranging from -10dBm to +6dBm.

Their receiving sensitivity can be up to -98dBm with a data rate of 125Kbps. Their receiving current is 17mA at a data rate of 250/500Kbps. The RF section also supports a Low Sleep current of 0.5μA and the devices also have a Middle Sleep Mode which provides a fast crystal oscillator wake-up and an ATR (Auto-Transmit-Receive) function.

The  BC66F5652/BC66F5662  have an operating voltage of 1.9V~3.6V, provide complete 2.4GHz two-way transmission, a small 46-pin QFN package and meet with the industrial specification operating temperature of -40°C~85°C. BC66F3652/BC66F3662 Sub-1GHz RF Transceiver A/D MCU

Holtek is de l ighted to announce t h e r e l e a s e o f i t s n e w l o w current Sub-1GHz RF SoC MCUs, the BC66F3652 and BC66F3662. The devices include a ful ly integrated high power programmable amplifier, a GFSK frequency synthesizer and a digital demodulation function, etc., greatly simplifying the overall circuit design. With regards to RF standards, the devices RF characteristics are fully compliant with ETSI/FCC specifications. The devices operate in the below 1GHz license-free ISM bands, which is suitable for IoT products, smart homes, industrial/agricultural controllers and many other wireless bidirectional transmission products.

The BC66F3652 and BC66F3662 have a Flash Program Memory capacity of 8K/16K×16, a Data Memory capacity of 512/2048×8 and a Data EEPROM capacity of 128/1024×8 respectively. These two MCUs include multi-function Timer Modules, a high accuracy HIRC/LIRC, a 12-bit A/D Converter which includes an internal reference voltage

with a high accuracy of ±1%, comparator, SPI/I2C/UART communication interfaces and fully supports IAP online upgrades. For the RF module, the devices have a programmable transmission power of up to +13dBm. The receiving sensitivity can be up to -119dBm at a data rate of 2kbps. The receiving current can be as low as 4.2mA at 433MHz and the transmission rate is up to 250kbps.

The devices have an operating voltage ranging from 1.9V to 3.6V, have fully integrated Sub-1GHz b id i rect iona l transmission and are suppl ied in a small size 46-pin QFN package type. TinyPowerTM 40V/150mA HT75Hxx Series Ultra Low Quiescent Current with Protection

Holtek is delighted to announce the release of its new TinyPower™ ultra low quiescent current LDO series, the  HT75Hxx. This new LDO series includes a high input voltage of 40V, ultra-low quiescent current of 2.5µA and a maximum output current value of 150mA. HT32F50343 32-bit 5V USB MCU for RGB LED Strip Control Applications

Holtek is delighted to announce the release of i ts new generat ion 5V USB MCU series, the  HT32F50343. This new device is based around the Arm®  Cortex®-M0+ core and offers the advantages of high operating efficiency, wide operating voltage and fully integrated dedicated hardware for RGB LED strip control. The device is suitable for use in PC products such as motherboards, CPU cooling fans, graphic cards, memories etc., and can also be used in e-sports peripherals such as gaming keyboards, mice, headsets etc., or other application areas which require LED lighting effects and a USB interface.

The device has an operating frequency of up to 60MHz, operating voltage range of 2.5V~5.5V and provides an additional independent VDDIO  pin for design flexibility. It contains a 64 KB Flash memory and a 12 KB SRAM and also provides abundant peripheral resources such as two UART interfaces, two I²C

The HT32F57342/52 devices are supplied in 80-pin LQFP package type and up to 67 GPIO pins. In their l ow power consumpt ion mode - DeepSleep1/2 - the devices can be woken up from any I/O-pin, which makes the design of power saving

mode operation more convenient. The integrated reference voltage is used for A/D Converter measurement calibration and suitable for low-power battery applications.

32-bit Advanced Series Microcontroller HT32F12364 for Fingerprint Identification and Smart Door Lock Multiple Applications

Holtek is pleased to announce its new Arm®  Cortex®-M3 series Flash MCU, the  HT32F12364. The device provides high efficiency, rich memory configurations, high price-performance ratio as well as low power consumption features, making it suitable for high-level applications, such as fingerprint identification, smart door locks, etc.

The device supports an operating speed of up to 72 MHz, an operating voltage range of 1.65V~3.6V and has a temperature range of -40°C~85°C. In addition, the device provides an independent VDDIO pin, which allows connecting to external components with voltages different to that of the MCU VDD. With regard to features, the device has a Flash memory capacity of up to 256 KB and an SRAM memory capacity of up to 128 KB. The device also includes rich peripheral resources, such as multiple groups of timers, one USART, two sets of UARTs, I2C, SPI and

ESK-16D31B-C00, ESK-16D33A-C00 and ESK-16D35A-C00 are evaluation boards for Holtek constant current LED driver IC HT16D3x series. HT16D3x series integrate a PWM illumination control function, fade effect and rolling functions. In having the above features, they are suitable for use in applications such as mood lights, selfie lights, gaming keyboards, rhythm lamps, Bluetooth LED speakers, mobile phones backlights and home appliances which have color display panels.

Holtek provides a graphics editing software tool, LED Editor, to set up and edit patterns and colors, set rolling

functions, set up fade and other functions, and then view the simulated display on the computer screen. The development platform, LED Workshop, is also provided to convert any user-edited graphics and instructions into MCU program code, ready for programming into the Holtek MCU. To use the software tools, this board should be used together with the MCU Board ESK-LED-100 and the debug adapter e-Link.
