BIBRA LAKE PRIMARY SCHOOL
BUSINESS PLAN
2018—2020
B E INSPIRED, BE RESPECTED, ACHIEVE
Welcome
Bibra Lake Primary School is an Independent Public School.
A strength of the school is the strength of the partnerships with our community.
Each student is treated as an individual and all are encouraged to reach their potential in a caring and
supportive environment. This only comes about when we all join together as a community with positive
aims and purpose in mind. Bibra Lake Primary School staff are an experienced, dedicated group who
are working effectively together to enhance the performance of students.
Staff members include those that maintain and clean the facility, manage reception and finance, sup-
port the educational program, implement the educational program and manager the school administra-
tors.
We hope that you, through your interest, personal involvement and cooperation, will come to feel very
much part of our school community. We look forward to working with you during the course of your as-
sociation with our school and encourage you to become actively involved in your child's education.
Our school core values of respect, resilience, responsibility and individuality are used daily throughout
the school community in the development our of programs and policies, These values form the moral
purpose of our school and the foundation for ensuring the best environment for all members of our
community. We teach these values through the acronym BIBRA—Be Inspired, Be Respectful,
Achieve.
We promote an environment where students learn to take responsibility for their actions, respect and
value diversity, and see themselves as global citizens who can contribute to a more peaceful, just and
sustainable word.
The members of the school board have considered and endorsed the school Business Plan 2018—
2020

Vision To empower all students to develop all the necessary skills,
knowledge, attitudes and values enabling them to achieve
their potential, positivity contributing to the community, the
environment and ultimately, society, as both a citizen and a
leader. A significant contributor to the sense of community in
the school will be the capacity to involve our students in every
aspect of school life including leadership opportunities for all
students. In the future, every aspect of the school should be
better than it is now.
Core Values Respect Resilience Responsibility Individuality
Beliefs At Bibra Lake Primary School we believe that space to play is
a fundamental right of every child and is the basis of learning.
Creating a fun, nurturing environment promotes a child’s
sense of wonder, of curiosity and enquiry.
The planning, teaching, learning and assessment cycle
should be evidenced based.
Learning is best supported by consistent whole school
approaches.
We need to understand the importance of sustainability and
demonstrate sustainable actions and practices.
Each individual student’s unique attributes and potential
(academic, creative, social and physical), should be
recognised and nurtured.
