MANAGING WORK CLEARANCE PERMITS
WORK CLEARANCE PERMITS WORKFLOW AND BPM:
• Work Order Tracking application (Start for clearance permit request)Users here predominantly are the Maintenance staff and Work planners/schedulers to facilitate work, job cards, work order planning + execution with similar work clearance permit requirements
• Initiating Clearances (Clearances application module) Users correspond to Operators (control room) who add work orders for execution with/without fresh clearance requests. Clearance statuses range from Draft-to-Ready, the clearance boundary conditions inclusive of components to be tagged (comp records), tag conflicts, tag sharing identified and initiated
• Approving Clearance Application (Clearances application)Users correspond to Operators (control room), Tagging Official (TO), Senior Reactor Operator (SRO), Shift Supervisor (SSO) for sanction of approvals to the work clearance permits requested/initiated
• Applying & Verifying TAGS (Tag application module)Users correspond to Operators (Plant side) who perform the application along with verification of dependencies (dependent tasks as well as child components) using this application or Clearances Kiosks (at Asset/Location level) thereby generating Component wise clearance records
• READY Status (Clearance application) Users are the Operators (control room + plant side) rendering the equipment and dependent assets as per configuration in Ready status of clearance permit thus enabling conduct of Maintenance activities
• Craft Involvement (Sub process IFF required)Users are the Maintenance staff along with Work planners to perform the actual maintenance activities planned for and an additional Craft approval loop in this process becomes active if work, job tasks are identified that do not have an existing Working/Admin Clearances permit assigned or mapped onto to facilitate inclusion and execution
• Preparation for Clearances Restoration Users are Operators (Control room + plant side) who use the active applicable Line-up plan to generate the Restoration to serviceable configuration activities and tagging either automated or manually (over ride provision available)
• Clearance Status to Release Users include Maintenance staff + Control room operators, here all assigned work package orders are completed and released, tagging either shared or unshared are verified, all pre-requisites are complied and signed off as per official compliances for approving of clearances release
• Approving Clearance Restoration (Clearances application)Users correspond to Operators (control room), Tagging Official (TO), Senior Reactor Operator (SRO), Shift Supervisor (SSO) for sanction of approvals to the work clearance permits restore status
• Restore & Verify TAGS (Clearance status)Users correspond to Operators (Plant side) conduct all activities required to restore the line-down equipment with respect to position/operations into serviceable configuration
• Complete + Closed (Clearance status)Users correspond to Operators (Control room) verify for tag conflicts (WSHARE Tagging status for the dependent shared tags), closure of all assigned work package orders/tasks, activities to render Line-up for regular operations
