As many of you are

aware, the skeet ma-

chine in high house,

field 2 has been unser-

viceable and subject to

numerous attempts to

repair with no luck.

That machine had

seen more then it’s

share of thrown clays

so it was discussed,

researched, and decid-

ed to move forward

and purchase 2 new

Briley - Mattarelli

Skeet machines. To

take advantage of

shipping and customs

costs, the club part-

nered with the Ottawa

Skeet Club to purchase

the machines collec-

tively with their pur-

chase.

These new machines

will certainly enhance

our capability and en-

sure consistency for

target launching from

the field houses.

Lets all be proactive to ensure that

these machines are treated with care

by performing regular preventative

maintenance and reporting any defect

or inconsistent operation of the units.

These units have the capability to

expand to voice/wireless operation.

For those members who contributed

towards the purchase of these ma-

chines in the form of a donation, we

would like to thank you!

Many members have inquired refer-

ence shooting sporting clays and it

has certainly become a popular topic.

What we need to do is have a small

work party of volunteers to transit

through the sporting clay range of all

ten stations to perform a clean up and

functional check of the manual ma-

chines. This would include target re-

plenishment and ensuring the station

platforms/stands are in good repair.

Since our recent approval from the

CFO with respect to adjusting our

Sporting Clays stations in eliminating

shot-fall interference with our skeet

and trap fields, we can look forward to

running sporting clay shoots.

The CFO has finally approved us to

run all three disciplines (skeet, trap &

sporting clays), simultaneously. This

is great news!

Please provide your name to the exec-

utive John Wigle (Field Capt), to vol-

unteer to assist with this clean up.

Thanks.

corded system. The system eliminates

the long cord completely. The control-

ler can simply be kept in the puller’s

hand and passed very easily amongst

the shooters during their round skeet.

The club will be purchasing two of

these systems and will run on sepa-

rate frequencies fro each field they are

installed.

Please treat them with care!

Thanks to Patrick, he has found a so-

lution of having to pull the pull cord

around to each station within the

skeet range over the snow and ice etc.

The solution is a cordless puller con-

troller that operates from a wireless

modem installed at the power recepta-

cle. The controller runs from a 9v bat-

tery and has the exact same configu-

ration of high, low and doubles as our

New Cordless Squadpuller System!
