We decided to search for both “Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful” and “fall To Grace” as both albums were released a few years apart and we wanted to see whether the music tastes of Paloma Faith’s fans was similar or if their tastes had changed slightly and which artists were dominant in the ‘Customers who bought this item also bought’ section for both albums.

When we searched for Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful we found that the customers which had bought this item had also bought albums of a similar

style and genre. Examples such as Imelda May, a jazz singer who has been compared to one of Paloma Faith’s

influences, Billie Holiday. We also found that they had bought albums of newer artists such as Lana Del Ray who is

part of a different sub genre of pop called Indie Pop and Emeli Sande who is part of the music genre of Soul. This shows that the audiences of Paloma Faith stretch their

music tastes to artists of other sub genres of Pop and not just Soul.

We then searched Paloma Faith’s second album ‘Fall To Grace’. We found

that customers who had bought this album had also bought similar albums

to before such as Emeli Sande and Lana Del Ray showing that although their music tastes vary from artist to artist

they do not vary over time.
