What is the effect of the use of these resources on the earth?
SilverSilver could be
found at hazardous waste if mixed with these compounds soil and/or water.
Mineral• Some forest
can be tore down for mining which would case damage to the environment.
What is the effect of the use of these resources on organisms?
SilverSilver has germicidal
effects and kills many lower organisms effectively without harm to higher animals.
MineralsMining can harm
the plants and animals around it.
How are they turned into useful energy?
Silver• Silver is used in
batteries to help them create electricity.
MineralCoal is mainly the
only mineral used for energy.
Describe some dangers using and transporting these
resources. Silver
• Silver nitrate is toxic. It is very poisonous and can cause burns. It can cause permanent blue-grey staining of eyes, mouth, throat and skin(long term).

minerals can cause erosion and damage to the biodiversity
