Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must fulfill ALL of the following criteria for 15% quota in the state medical colleges:
1. The candidate must be an Indian National. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ (NRI)/ (OCI) are not eligible.
2. The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 2000 to be eligible to appear for NEET 2017.
(Age limit 25 years for Unreserved Category and 30 years for SC/ST/OBC)
3. The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness at the time of admission
4. The candidate must have passed the SSC or equivalent exam.
5. The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th

Admission in Medical courses in Maharashtra will be based on NEET Scores
For selection to Health Science degree courses, The Director, Medical Education and Research (DMER),
Mumbai is the Competent Authority.
The Authority for selection to BVSc & AH degree course is the Registrar, Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries
Science University, Nagpur.
The seats available through this entrance are seats in Health Science Courses at all Government/Municipal
Corporation, Government aided Health Science institutions and
Private Medical Health Science Colleges/ Institutions who opt for admission through MH CET.
