I Have Improved My Writing By…

I have improved on my cursive. Like last year I could barely write in cursive, now I can write paragraphs in cursive. Speaking of paragraphs I also learned how to write a five paragraph essay. In writing a story you need a detailed introduction, three juicy body paragraphs, and an amazing conclusion. My last thing I improved on is my handwriting. Last year my handwriting was so bad I couldn’t even read it. Now I still need some work on it, but now I can read it.

My Reading Has Improved By…

Last year I read one page every two minutes. Now I can read a page in less than a minute. Also I learned new words from my books. I learned what they mean too. To me it is becoming easier to read my social studies textbook. I learned whole new kinds of words, Like Reincarnation.

How I feel About LA

I think LA is most of the time fun. LA is good because I personally love reading. Sense we do a lot of reading I like it. I also think I like LA more than last year. So that’s good. Spelling is also fun, it is educational and fun.

My Goal For This Year Is…

My goal for this year is to be able to read even faster. Also I want to learn new kinds of words, like Ancient Egyptian language. After that I want to be able to write neater. I want to learn how to read harder books, like Harry Potter or Star Wars. Reading hard words is tricky, but reading hard names is even harder. Its hard trying to say the names. I want to learn a lot a things, but I’ll learn one thing at a time.

How I Feel About Social Studies…

Social studies this year has been fun. I like how we usually do one chapter at a time. Then we take the test and do it all over again. So I know what to expect on the chapter tests. Also I should have already learned the stuff on the unit tests. So I know what to expect there too. It is also easy to do most of the tests.

The most Important Thing I Learned This Year Is…

The most important thing I’ve learned this year about Ancient History is the four profits. Moses, Abraham, King David, King Solomon are considered profits because the Jews only believe in God. Abraham founded Judaism. Moses freed Abraham’s people from slavery and got the Ten Commandments from God. King David established Jerusalem. King Solomon built the great temple in Jerusalem. I think that is pretty important.

My Favorite Activity In Social Studies Is…

My favorite activity in social studies was being a social class. I dressed up as a pheasant. I put dirt in my hair. We also made cool props. Like Hatchets and corn crops. We made our own scripts.

THAT WAS FUN!

My Individual Goal Is…

My individual goal for this class is to know every word and to know how to pronounce. I want to learn every word because then I can correct someone when they say it wrong. Then I can be right. Then they would know the word too. That is my goal for the year.
