WHITE TIGERS ADAPTATION
TEETH
The teeth of
the white
tiger are
used mostly
to tear meat
while
hunting.
They can also use their teeth for snapping necks, and crunching through bones.
CLAWSTigers have large padded feet
that enable them to silently
stalk prey in the Asian jungles.
Tiger claws are curved which allows them to grasp and
hold large prey and climb trees head-
first. the tiger's size and weight is a big effect in climbing down from trees.
TAIL
A tiger's tail is about one meter in
length (3 ft.) and may play a part in their
visual communicatio
n.
Tigers use their tail for balance when making sharp turns to
catch their prey.
TONGUE
The tiger's tongue is covered with 100’s of small, sharp, projections called papillae. These papillae gives the tongue rough texture, and is designed to help remove feathers, fur and meat from prey
HAIR AND FUR
The hair of the Tiger lets them camouflage, and give them warmth
and protection.
Many Tigers have stripes on their face,
sides, legs and stomach.
EARS
Every animal has ears they use them to hear their
surroundings
They use their ears to protect themselves and
their family
