Water from the sea evaporates into the sky and becomes water vapour.
As air cools the water vapour begins to condense. This makes it change into drops of liquid water
High up in the sky, it gets so cold that it begins to freeze. The water freezes into tiny crystals or snowflakes. As they fall through the air, they melt and form snow.
We hope you enjoyed our presentation and that you know more about how snow is formed.
With lots of thanks to miss carson.
