The water cycle is the way the earth uses and recycles water. It is controlled by the sun.
The water cycle consists of 4 main parts:- Evaporation- Condensation- Precipitation- Collection
Evaporation is when the sun heats up water and turns it into a gas, vapor, or steam and goes into the air.
Condensation is when the water vapor in the air gets cold and turns back into liquid, which makes clouds.
Precipitation happens when the clouds have so much liquid in them that they can’t hold it any more.
Precipitation comes in many forms like; rain, hail, sleet, or snow.
When water falls back to the earth it collects in various places like, lakes, rivers, ponds, and oceans.
