Naomi Bohn Yamaguchi, soprano, born in Japan and passionate about singing, began her vocal work in France and then with Sirvart Kazandjian of the Conservatory of Music in Lausanne. Currently she is working with Rachel Bersier in Fribourg and participates in masterclasses with Vincent Aguettant in Switzerland and Italy. Under the direction of Jordi Mora, conductor in Barcelona, she was able to fulfill an enriching performance on works by Schumann and Haendel. She participated in the summer festival of Borgo Val di Taro in Italy with Anthony di Giantomasso, sang in Montenegro with the pianist Sonja Lohmiller of the Bern Opera. Naomi regularly participates in various projects with other musicians ranging from jazz to French repertoire and romantic lieder. With the pianist Sergio Escalera and soprano Alexis Munier, she gave a recital of Mozart, Verdi and Offenbach opera and duet pieces at the Saint François Church in Lausanne in 2016. She was also the guest soloist in 2015 and 2016 in the vocal ensemble Amabilis of Sion and the vocal ensemble des Beaux-Arts of Neuchâtel under the direction of Adriana Boczkowska. In 2017, with Juan David Molano, pianist and conductor, she presented a project of lieder and melodies for the Summer Musical Festival at the Montheron Abbey.
