HOMOGRAPH AND HYPONYM)
DEFINITION AND EXAMPLE OF HOMONYM
Homonym is one of a group of words that share the same spelling and the same pronunciation but have different meanings. Examples:
Fly = move through the air as a bird Fly = insect that have two wings Hard = difficult Hard = something solid Close = near Close = shut Ring = produce sounds Ring = circular metal band worn on finger Saw = verb I of see Saw = tool which has long blade with sharp teeth
DEFINITION AND EXAMPLE OF HOMOPHONE
Homophone is a word that sounds exactly like another word, but has a different meaning and a different spelling. Examples :
Addition = process of addingEdition = form in which a book is printedKnow = there are information on our mindNow = present timeMeet = go to place and wait there for person to arrive Meat = fleshRice = white or reg grain that is cooked and eatenRise = come or go upwardsWin = be most successful in competitionWind = air that move quickly

Hyponym is a word or phrase whose semantic field is included within that of another word. Examples :
Orchid,Rose,Jasmine,Sunflower,Carnation are hyponyms of flowers
Galenny,Cock,Hen,Duck,Goose,Bird are hyponyms of fowls
Apple,Orange,Banana,Guava,Strawberry,Watermelon are hyponyms of fruits
Cat,Dog,Sheep,Goat,Rabbit,Monkey are hyponyms of animals
Cassava,Potato,Maniouc,Tuberous are hyponyms of tuber plants
