Evansville, Springfield, St. Louis, Memphis.

Divergent

Plates began to actively pull apart in Wabash Valley region.

Plates moving about 1-2 millimeters per year.

Features

Severe earthquakes

Could cause floods

Many cities would be affected.

2008- Magnitude 504

West salem, Illinois

6 hour aftershock

Residents should be warned and prepared for the after effects.

It is not known when it will strike.
