AMOUNT OF RAINFALLThe forest is very humid so it is important to have rainfall. Rainforests have tons of rainfall. About 250 inches of precipitation falls every year.

TERMITES OF THE RAINFORESTRainforest termites help break down dead tree parts in a matter of weeks.

ORCHIDSThe weight of several orchids have been known to topple trees.

ANNATTO FRUITSAnnatto fruits are found in tropical rainforests. Nearby villages go to rainforests to pick annatto fruits.

INSECTSScientists believe the majority of insects have yet to be discovered.
