NATURAL GAS & PETROLEUM
NATURAL GAS
• Natural gas: It’s a gas made of methane, with 20% higher hydrocarbons and ethane. Its associated with other hydrocarbon fuel such as, coal and beads used as methane clathrates . This is a very important fuel source and major feedstock for fertilizer. Natural gas is formed by two mechanisms: Biogenic and thermogenic. Biogenic gas is created by mathanogenic organisms found in marshes, bogs, landfills, and shallow sediments. Thermogenic gas is created from buried organic material.
• Used for gasoline by compressing natural gas less than 1% of its volume and standard pressure. Natural gas powers more than 12 million vehicles.
NATURAL GAS
What is it used for?? Example how its used.
• Natural gas effects Earth by hydrates, it can be considered as a modification of ice that has a high content of gas. Its already effecting the earths overall temperature and methane, its responsible for 30% global warming.
HOW DOES IT EFFECT EARTH??
• It effects the marine animals because it releases oil into the ocean.
HOW NATURAL GAS AFFECT ORGANISMS.
• Natural gas is a main source for energy. 25% is used in the united states. Its used for electricity and fuels, and oil.

WHY IS NATURAL GAS DANGEROUS???
• Natural gas isn't dangerous the problem is that if there's a gas leak and if a pipe rips. Its flammable which means that if there's a flame or even a spark in the area of a leak, it can cause am fire or an explosion. Carbon monoxide is a dangerous gas.
PETROLEUM Petroleum is found underground , it can be known as oil. Oil can be as thick and black as tar or as thin as water.
PETROLEUM
• We can turn petroleum into different fuels such as gasoline and heating oil. Plastic and ink is made out of petroleum. People have been burning oil for a period of time, they didn't dig it.
Dangers of petroleumWell petroleum is dangerous because its not renewable and it takes a good while of time to get rid of it. Its also flammable and some people are allergic.
