PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR & STAFF …………………$1,895.00

Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to

respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family and responsible parties;

preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation

and placement of obituary notice; and coordination with those providing other service details of the

funeral including cemetery, crematory, vault companies, airlines, and others as required. Also

included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facilities such as sheltering of your

loved one in our care, professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and

utility expenses, parking lot and grounds, maintenance, taxes, equipment, furnishings, inventory

cost, record-keeping, and secretarial and administrative expenses.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral

arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations,

immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

SERVICE AND FACILITY FEES

Visitation at the Funeral Home or Church: Our services will include set up of visitation, use of

visitation room, display of floral arrangements, and supervision and attendance during the visitation.

EMBALMING

Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by Federal or State law. Embalming may be

necessary if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a service with a viewing. If you do not

want embalming, you will have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for

it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Waiting Fees: $50 per hour per officer

We now reserve the right to charge an additional $50 per officer per hour waiting time. We are starting this in

an effort to keep our men on schedule. We don’t anticipate invoking this very often, rather we hope families will

plan ahead and prevent instances that could make us late for a job you may have scheduled later in the day.

You can help families avoid incurring the extra cost by informing them of the added fee for long services and by

asking them to provide a time they would like for us to arrive at their location. We don’t mind how long a service

will be; we simply want to provide timely service to all of our customers with the limited manpower we have on

staff
