T-Tech Tattoo Device Inc. strives to make the process of finding your preferred tattoo needle configurations easy and painless. To ensure that you can find everything you want as well as easily utilize our quick order check out, we’d like to show you how to correctly read our SKUs/coding system. The following components are described in order of their appearance on the cartridge SKUs:
T-Tech started off as a cartridge and traditional tattoo needles supplier. That’s why our first generation of cartridges type is named C, simply standing for Cartridge.
T-Tech currently produces and offers two
tattoo needle diameters:
• “12” stands for a standard diameter of each needle point, which is .35mm
• “10” stands for Bugpins, or the finer .30 mm diameter needle points.
The next number you see is the count of needle points in a configuration.

T-Tech offers 5 main configurations, which you can find on our labeling system:
RL
RS
M1
RM
F
Since tightness of a configuration also depends on its taper length, we identify taper length/tightness of a liner right after mentioning your chosen configuration:
T- Super Tight
L- Long Taper
Here’s a full list of T-Tech’s available configurations and their respective taper lengths:
RL – Round Liner
RLT – Tight Round Liner
RS – Round Shader
M1 – Magnum
M1-L – Long Taper Magnum
RM – Round (aka Curved) Magnum
RM-L – Long Taper Round (aka Curved) Magnum
F – Long Taper Flat

Just as traditional needles have specially sized tubes, T-Tech uses cartridges that are sized perfectly for specific needle configurations. It is important to know that the number displayed on the cartridge shells pertain only to the size of the shell. The following are the cartridge shell numbers with their needle configurations pairings:
Tight Liners (6-7mm)
Our tight liners come with super long tapers, that range between 6-7 MM allowing T-Tech to produce tight configurations for lining and filling out finer details while tattooing.
Round Liners (4mm)
Round liners are made with 4MM tapers to ensure good and tight fit of various needle points that would hold the ink and decrease spillage.
Shaders, Magnums, and Round Magnums (1.8mm)
All shaders and regular sized mags / curved mags have a 1.8MM taper size that allows for a better ink flow, especially when it comes to thicker lining, shading and colour packing.
Long Taper Magnums, Long Taper Round Magnums and Flats (3.5mm)
All T-Tech long taper mags/curved mags, as well as flats are made with 3.5MM taper.

TAPER LENGTHS To ensure that all of your tattooing needs are met, different configurations have different taper sizes:
PLUNGERS (Drive Bars)
The coding system is based on length number and ball diameter:
L# = Length
Size (in mm)
D#= Diameter
Size – always 6mm
EXAMPLE: L88D6 is a long drive bar of 88mm in length with a 6mm pushing ball.
GRIPS
*Grip sizes are recorded in millimeters (see conversion table below for sizes in inches)
Style:
CD = Contoured Grip
SD = Standard Grip
Sizes & Conversions* for Grips:
• 19 mm = ¾”
• 25 mm = 1”
• 30 mm = 1.2”
• 32 mm = 1.25”
