2004 Carbohydrates U 0500 C-Glycosides of 2-Amino-2-deoxy Sugars. β-C-Glycosides and 1,1-Disubstituted Variants. — A new entry to β-C-glycosides of N-acetyl-2-amino-2-deoxy sugars is found. It is based on extending the synthetic utility of anomeric selenides as precursors via C—Se homolysis and alkene trapping.
