This scenario is good when we are using PPPoE Client for Router/NAT interface. This is because PPPoE we can configure only by ONT WWW interface or GPON provisioning. So if we will set IP address on IP-HOST-1 then we can log in remotely to the ONT by WWW and set PPPoE for IP-HOST-2 – so there is not important to log in from ONT LAN-side.
