Discover Your True Potential Baking and Pastry Certi�cate Requirements
This is a two semester non-credit program that provides baking skills training for entry into the labor market. The curriculum includes introductory and advanced baking and pastry skills. This is a rigorous �ve days per week, six hours per day certi�cate program. Upon successful completion of the class, you will earn a certi�cate.
CSST 9650 Introduction to Baking and PastryTopics include: ■ Food safety and sanitation ■ Bake shop technology ■ Proper use of equipment ■ Weights and measures
CSST 9651 Advanced Baking and PastryTopics include: ■ Bakery math ■ Ingredient functionality ■ Improving on basic skills ■ Troubleshooting
Classes taught at our Downtown Center, 88 Fourth Street.The minimum time for completion of this certi�cate is 2 semesters. Completion time will vary based on student preparation and number of classes completed per semester.
