STANFORD MILITARY TRAINING AREA TOUR 2015

The Parish Council has been invited to take a conducted tour of the Training Area as we did in 2013. Places are being taken up so book now to avoid disappointment.

The tour will be on Wednesday 10th June 2015 with the coach leaving Croxton Village Hall at 5pm. The tour takes about 3 hours so we should be back at the Village Hall by 9pm.

The MOD make no charge for the tour but do accept donations to military charities therefore the cost is likely to be about £10 a head which should cover the cost of the coach and enable us to make a donation to the charity.

Payment will be required by the end of April 2015 to secure places.

Permission is required for under 18s on the tour so please advise when booking.

To provisionally book places on the tour, please contact Doug Stephen on

01842 754510 or [email protected]

CROXTON GLASS RECYCLING FACILITIES

In October last year Breckland Council announced that glass/bottles could be placed in home recycling bins. However this would have the effect of diverting glass/bottles away from our recycling facility located at Crox-ton village hall. The recycling facility contributes up to 20% of Parish Council annual revenue, which in turn helps the Parish Council to avoid any increase in precept cost to residents for the last 5 years and more.

We therefore urge you to please continue to use our Croxton recycling facility for your glass/bottles, pa-per, and textiles as before. It may involve a little more effort but will reward you by allowing Parish costs

to you to be kept down !!

OIL SYNDICATE

Next orders will be placed on or about 1st July 2015. Please Note; would you kindly order your oil by email or telephone rather than mentioning it to us - the

memory is not what it used to be !!
