When an injector is to be removed or installed the rocker shaft should not be removed.Special tooling long reach T40 socket to be used

(Part # 298-5564).CAUTION

On completion ensure pushrod ball end is located correctly in tappet cup, rocker adjuster located in pushrod cup, and valve

bridge is located correctly over both valve tips.TIP : Rotate engine two complete revolutions after setting

valve lash to ensure engine is rotating correctly.
