Process: Situation 4.6C / Problems

The process „Creation of the Advance Report for Tax on Sales and Purchases“ is supported by the report RFUMSV00 in the R/3 System.

The report allows to give out the tax data electronically via a DME format tree. An electronic tax reporting is not possible.

The country specific forms for the Advance Report for Tax on Sales and Purchases are filled manually

This has to be done for each company code or each taxable entity mostly each month

To rationalize this business process the project „Advance Return on Tax for Sales and Purchases in XML-format“ has been started.

The aim of the project is to create the Advance Return on Tax for Sales and Purchases in correspondence to the requirements in different countries, electronically.

Pilot Customer Project

In a customer project the Advance Return for Tax on Sales and Purchases is created electronically.

It is a German customer, who has to create this tax form monthly more than 100 times, for the German tax authorities.

The customer uses a modified report RFUMSV00 to create an XML file, which has the structur, which was required by the German fiscal authorities, the Oberfinanzdirektion.

Planned Future Develoment

In future it is planned to extent the Return on Tax for Sales and Purchases to create an output file, which contains all necessary data for country specific formats

With the help of a new customizing this file can be converted to individually formats.
