Partnerships on Coastal Conservation and Protection forged and

sealed

 The coastal resources conservation and protection in Oriental Mindoro isbeing strengthened thru increased community participation, improved socio-economic benefts and eective enorcement o MPAs. ith these mindset,orging partnerships among sta!eholders is essential to eectively managedcoastal resources.

 The Provincial "overnment thru theProvincial Agriculture O#ce $ %isheries and&'M (ivision has entered into MOA )ith theMalampaya %oundation *nc. +M%* since /0to strengthen coastal conservation andprotection. They provide technical , fnancialand other orms o resources to active and

champion communities in their managementand enorcement o Marine Protected Areas+MPAs.
