Accessing the Interim Hand Scoring Resources

1. Go to the CAASPP website at: http://www.caaspp.org/index.html 2. Under ‘TA Resources’ select ‘Interim Assessments’.

3. Select ‘Hand Scoring Training Guides and Exemplars’

4. Click on the ‘Help’ icon.

5. Select the ‘Interim Hand Scoring’ tab.

6. Scroll down and select your grade level.

Then, select from the available Training Sets/Exemplars.

7. In the Exemplars, you will see a Prep Set, that gives examples of responses that earned different scores, and a Check Set, that allows you to score them yourself and see if you are aligned with CAASPP.

** These resources can be used for training and with students, but cannot be posted or shared with the public.
