The CPR (Construction Products Regulation) is a regulation issued by the European Union, in force since 1st July 2016. The CPR applies to all products intended to be used permanently in construction: public places, housing, civil engineering works, electrical connections to buildings, external lighting, etc.

The purpose of the CPR is to ensure the harmonisation across Europe, achieve higher safety levels for fire and dangerous substances and provide greater clarity and traceability of the materials used in construction.

Our Medium Voltage product range is produced in our factory located near Barcelona, using the latest machinery generation and the most up to date process technology.

The factory is equipped with a modern R&D&i centre that can design and produce cables according to most international quality standards and can carry out development testing and certification of Medium Voltage cables. All of this is done by a team expert in cable production.

Xtrem® H07RN-F rubber cables are designed to supply power to low voltage appliances including electric motors and submersible pumps in deep water installations, as well as many other electrical equipment.

Thanks to its extraordinary flexibility and mechanical strength, the Xtrem® H07RN-F cable is ideal for power transmission in both fixed ins-tallation or mobile service. The nominal voltage up to 1000 V thanks to the high dielectric properties of the insulation material (according to HD 516). Top Cable Xtrem® H07RN-F cables are designed to power all types of electrical equipment including motors and submersible pumps in deep water installations (AD8).

Toxfree® Xtrem H07ZZ-F is a flexible cable for mobile service, suita-ble for instalations where low smoke and halogen free fumes under fire conditions are required. Suitable for installations where the cable must withstand medium mechanical stress, for machines in industrial and agricultural workshops, for motors and transportable machines on construction sites, for windmills and for agricultural applications.

APPLICATION

Topweld® H01N2-D is a harmonized, flexible, rubber welding cable specially designed for transmitting high currents between the welding generator and the electrode. Its flexibility makes using the welding tool easier and also prevents knots from forming in the cable that could cause the internal conductor to break. It can also be used in automatic welding and machine tools, conveyor systems and production or as-sembly lines, for example in automobile assembly lines.

Cables with cross section up to 1 mm2 are especially suited for signalling and monitoring installations.

Powerhard® F RVFV-K cable is especially suitable for fixed installations that may be subject to mechanical aggression. It is highly recommended for use in installations where the presence of rodents could imply a threat to the cable (such as warehouses, production plants and agricultural facilities). APPLICATION

Powerhard® RVhMVh-K cable has been specially designed for insta-llations in potentially explosion hazard locations (ATEX provided that local regulations allow it). It is highly recommended for petrol stations, petrochemical plants, flammable product warehouses, etc. It can also be used in production plants, agricultural facilities, street lighting and installations where the cable is subject to high mechanical aggression.This cable is also avaliable in hydrocarbon resistant version.

APPLICATION

APPLICATION

Toxfree® RZ1MZ1-K (AS) is a LSHF is a safety cable. In case of fire, it does not emit toxic or corrosive gases, protecting people and avoiding possi-ble damage to electronic equipment. Therefore its use is recommended for public places, in hazardous areas with explosive gas atmospheres (ATEX), and installations where the cable is subject to risk of mechanical aggresion.

APPLICATION

Toxfree® ZH Z1Z1-K (AS) is a LSHF safety cable. In the event of fire, it does not emit toxic gases, nor does it give off corrosive gases, avoiding any possible damage to people or electronic equipment. CONSTRUCTION


Grounding ConductorThe grounding conductor is divided into three conductors; the equivalent cross-section is approximately 50% of the section of the phase conductor. For 4G cables, grounding conductor has the same cross-section as the phase conductors.

InsulationCross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), according to IEC 60502-1 and type HF XLPE 90ºC according to IEC 60092-360. The standard identifica-tion of insulated conductors is the following:

APPLICATION

Medium Voltage copper cable for the transmission and distribution of electricity. This cable is recommended for installations where there may be a risk of oils and/or hydrocarbon type chemical agents coming into contact with the cable. • Distribution networks.

CONSTRUCTION

ConductorElectrolitic copper conductor class 2, according to EN 60228 and IEC 60228.


InsulationCross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) according to IEC 60502-2, in dry atmosphere catenary tube, through a triple layer extrusion process.

Cable conductor identificationThe conductors are identified with a tape placed along the cable between the outer semiconductor and the screen. Colours are; brown, green and yellow.


Metallic screenScreen of copper wires and cross-wound of copper tape placed helicoidally.

CablingThe three conductors are wound helicoidally with their screens in contact. Bedding is used to fill the spaces between the conductors to achieve a better cylindrical finish .

BeddingThe special PVC type ST2 according to IEC 60502-2 compound bedding gives a high level of resistance to hydrocarbons and mineral oils.

ArmourGalvanized steel wire wrapped helicoidally around the cable and fixed with a coun-ter-wound metal tape.

Outer sheathThe special PVC outer sheath compound, type ST2 according to IEC 60502-2, gives a high level of resistance to hydrocarbons and mineral oils. Red colour.

APPLICATION

X-VOLT® TSLF is a cable for fixed installations. Suitable for transport and distribution of electric power in medium voltage networks. Halogen free. This cable is suitable for indoor, outdoor and buried installations.

CONSTRUCTION

ConductorAluminium conductor, class 2 according to IEC 60228. Hygroscopic tapes applied to achieve longitudinal watertightness on the conductor.

Conductor screenCross-linked semiconductor screen applied over conductor in a triple-ex-trussion process.

InsulationCross-linked polyethylene insulation, type DIX8 according to HD 620; natural colour. Cross-linked in catenary line with nitrogen atmosphere.

Insulation screenCross-linked semiconductor screen applied over insulation in a triple-ex-trussion process. Bonded to the insulation layer.

Longitudinal sealingHygroscopic tape completely covering the screen.

Metallic screenMetallic screen with copper wires, applied over the semi-conducting tape. The metallic screen shall have a cross section of 25 mm2 for 95 mm2 core, 35 mm2 for 150, 240 and 400 mm2 core and 50 mm2 for 630 mm2 core.

Radial water-blocking barrierMade up of an aluminium foil/polymer laminate attached to the outer sheath.

Outer sheathPolyethylene outer sheath, type DMP 17 according to HD 620; black colour (with conductive covering).
