Siamese Coaxial CableAvailable with either dual coaxial cables or coaxial cable with a twisted
pair and also in a plenum-rated design for installation in a drop ceiling or a raised floor.
These cables are easier to install than standard coaxial cables and are ideal for dual Direct Broadcast System (DBS) applications where one dish is used to serve two receivers. They also are critical for satellite hookup where a powered-pair cable is desired. Other applications for these coaxial cables include sound and security surveillance cameras where the coaxial cable transmits the audio/video signal and the twisted pair is used to control the pan and tilt function of the closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera.
In today’s uncertain world, security installations are occurring at a double-digit growth rate. Security cameras are being installed in virtually every office, school and government facility, on highways and in traffic control centers and in most industrial, commercial and manufacturing facilities.

Available in both jacketed and jacketless configurations
Banana Peel jacketless cables eliminate a step in the process because there is no overall jacket to strip
Smaller O.D. than traditional composites, improv-ing the cable’s overall bend radius for faster, easier installation
Breakout versatility is certain since the individual cables can be connected to the junction box or re-routed to the application site
•
•
•
•
Short circuits, caused by contact with the center conductor while stripping off the outer jacket, can be prevented
The individual cables are color-coded by application for easy identification, minimizing termination problems due to incorrect choice of cable
Cables have the application printed on the individ-ual cable components: Lock Power, Card Reader, Door Contact and Request Exit (Rex/Spare) ensur-ing correct cable choice
The individual cable jackets are sequentially marked at 2' intervals and the cables are available in 1,000'/305m put-ups

CIC 2-Hour Fire-Rated Maintain Circuit Integrity and Physical Protection with a Simple, In-Conduit Solution
A cost-effective means of providing “survivability” as required by the National Fire Alarm Code (NFPA 72). Additionally, it can dramatically increase the reliability of any fire alarm system when it needs it the most (i.e. system is under attack by fire and water). Flexible and easy to install without the need for any special tools, hardware or instructions. Another benefit of the fire-rated construction is extremely low-capacitance, improving system performance and eliminating the need for special mid-cap cables.
Features & Benefits
Recognized two-hour fire-rating when installed in common 1/2" (or larger) EMT conduitMaximum physical protection is provided by conduit installationConsiderable economic savings over other recognized fire-rating methodsLowest available capacitance rating of any standard fire alarm cable (see data table below)
Performance
Meets National Fire Alarm Code (NFPA 72) requirements for survivabilityClassified two-hour fire-rating per UL Standard for Tests for Fire Resistive Cables, UL 2196, with exposure up to 1,850°F, immediate application of water and maintenance of full utilization voltage and electrical load throughout the testUL Listed as NEC® Type FPL Fire Alarm Cable per UL Standard #1424 and UL Listed as NEC® Type NPLF per UL Standard #1425Electrical Circuit Protective System (FHIT) #24 of the UL Fire Resistance Directory

RHH 2-Hour Fire-RatedA Low-Cost, High-Reliability Fire-Rated Cable System
A cost-effective means for providing two hour fire protection as required for your most critical circuits; it replaces Mineral Insulated (MI) cable, concrete encasement or construction of unnecessary fire barriers as the optimum way to protect critical circuits against attack by fire and water. Beyond the obvious economical advantage, RHH cable can be installed in long lengths (using standard pull through fittings and labor rates), does NOT require special tools or connectors and (with proper planning) circuit expansion, replacement or resizing can readily be accomplished.
Features & Benefits
Recognized two-hour fire-ratingUL Listed type RHH 600V, 90°C RatingInstalls in common 1/2" (or larger) EMT conduitPhysical protection provided by conduitLOOKS, FEELS and INSTALLS like standard RHHNo special tools, connectors or proceduresMeets requirements of NEC® Article 517 Healthcare FacilitiesNo cable length restrictions
Performance
Exceeds fire rating requirements of NEC® Articles 695 and 700Classified two-hour fire rating per UL Standard for Tests for Fire Resistive Cables, UL 2196, with exposure up to 1,850°F, immediate application of water hose stream and maintenance of full utilization voltage and electrical load throughout the testMeets all of the requirements of UL Subject #44 for rubber-insulated Type RHHElectrical Circuit Protective System (FHIT) #25 of the UL Fire Resistance Directory
