Vote-by-Mail Applications will be mailed by the Audi-tor’s Office on or about Sept. 14, 2020. Please return your SIGNED application to the Bottineau County Auditor’s Office and we will begin mailing Ballots on Sept. 24, 2020. You can mail the application or they can be dropped off at the Bottineau County Courthouse into a Drop Box located outside the front door or at the Auditor’s Office. Please call 228-2225 if you have questions about this process or if you did not get an application in the mail, and would like to vote absentee.

Please make sure your address has been updated by either using the online tool at https://vip.sos.nd.gov or you can call the NDDOT at 701-328-4353.

Due to Covid concerns, there will be ONE Polling location at the Bottineau Armory on Nov. 3. The hours will be 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. I strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask and remember to socially distance. There will also be voting available at the Auditor’s Of-fice beginning Sept. 24, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. I ask that anyone who would like to vote at the Auditor’s Office, please wear a mask for your safety as well as my staff.

We will begin mailing Vote-by-Mail ballots on Sept. 24 and they must be either mailed or returned to the Auditor’s Office by Nov. 2, 2020 by 5:00 pm to be counted. There is a Drop Box available in front of the Courthouse and in front of the Westhope City Hall. Both drop boxes will lock at 5:00 pm on Nov. 2, 2020.
