Strong FUNERAL SERVICES Calgary Family Owned www.evanjstrong.com Olga Rurka 1923 - 2020 In Loving Memory O lga Rurka of Calgary, Alberta died peacefully after a lengthy struggle with dementia on February 27, 2020. Born on October 15, 1923 near Holden, Alberta, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Cebryk) Komarnisky. Olga is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Grazyna, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by Grazyna’s sister and niece, Danusia and Monika (James). Olga was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Peter, in 1992 and her eleven siblings and their spouses. Known as a wonderful cook and generous hostess, she spent many happy times visiting with her family, friends, and church community that she valued so much. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to those in need. The family wishes to thank the Churchill Unit of the Carewest Colonel Belcher long-term care centre for the dignified and professional care provided in her final years. In Loving Memory

Olga Rurka of Calgary, Alberta died peacefully after a lengthy struggle with

dementia on February 27, 2020. Born on October 15, 1923 near Holden, Alberta, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Cebryk) Komarnisky. Olga is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Grazyna, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by Grazyna’s sister and niece, Danusia and Monika (James). Olga was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Peter, in 1992 and her eleven siblings and their spouses.
